I don't think its quite on par with the 90's Spiderman and X-Men series, but if you really enjoyed those series then you'll probally like the Fantastic Four cartoon series. Oh and $30 for the whole series (Seasons 1 & 2) is a pretty good deal.
Its been a long time since i've seen any of the Fantastic Four cartoon episodes...while not as good as Spider-Man and X-Men, i'd say that overall it was pretty good and worth buying if your a fantastic four fan.
Love the X-men series. Love the Spider-man Series. Completely HATE Iron man and Fantastic Four series. Don't get me wrong, I love the FF and Iron man, but I HATED their shows. Iron man had horrible music, horrible action, it was just bad all the way around. FF was almost worse, but not quite as bad IMHO. Theme music was OK, and their characters were pretty well done....to a degree. For a show about the fantastic four, there was way too much.....senseless dialogue and scenes. And the pilot episode??? A ####ing fund-raiser for a book? What the hell? And probably 5 mins in, they taught everyone to hate Thing, despite the fact that he's so much cooler than that. Thing was absolutely ####ing annoying in that show, and Johnny wasn't much better.
X-men was great. The theme music ALONE will get your blood pumping, and they draw up their drama pretty damn well. I watch all 5 seasons every now and then.
Spider-man was cool too. Definitely recommend that one. Plus the episodes with Blade, Iron Man, War Machine, etc. are just too frickin' cool. And he's funny when he taunts the villians, unlike Mcguire......

i wish i owned all the X-Men on dvd (i wish i owned them all period) that show was my favorite cartoon ever made, hands down, and your right, the music was perfect for that show, it just fits so well
It's pretty horrid, deffinitely the worst of the bunch. If you want, they've been re-airing the series on ABC Familly on Saturday mornings due to the FF movie coming out (and possibly at other ties), so check your local listings. I certainly wouldn't pay $30 for that show.

I have them all on VHS -- well, except the couple of episodes at the end that were never released, Episodes 74-76, I believe.
I would LOVE the X-Men on DVD and would buy the entire series in a second. If they added those never-released episodes, that would make it even cooler.
Both the X-Men and Spider-Man shows are still on every night, if you get the channel Toon Disney.
As for the F4 cartoon, I just Netflixed it, so I'll see soon if it's any good. And I didn't have to buy it to see it... gotta love Netflix.

Yikes.....................X-Men was bleedin' awful. They were just so thrown together and used everything that made the X-Men suck in the 90's.
Spider-Man was pretty good, and had really good moments. For my money not much beats the last few JLU episodes.
If you want a REALLY good show for that same price get the Superman: The Animated Series DVD pack. It's more current than what they've released for Bat-Man, and has storylines that run through seasons.
Luke B. forever one of Spiderman's Amazing Friends.
The first season of FF was fairly poor.
The second season was a vast improvement.
