as my rev collection FINALLY nears completion, i was looking at some LE prices....why is irene adler worth $50?

please dont read that as a smart @$$ question, im genuinely curious

Wizkids thought it a good idea during X-Plosion to make Con LE's only. She was one of them and when they gave the rest out as prize support later on they then only gave it to some judges. Hardly anyone got her!

I am guessing that her value is dictated by her collectors value. Since she is in fairly limited supply, even a minimal demand could have a high price. If you are a gamer, ignore her since you can likely do the same job with Destiny E/V for within 3 pts, if you are a collector, she is valuable in rarity for completeness.

I once bought 2 Ruperts (Mole Man) for 20 bucks a piece. Why 2? I knew the other one would sell/trade for more then 20 bucks and he only had 2. :) There are other triple incap pieces out now, but Rupert still sells for around 50 bucks. In a collectors game sometimes rarity is as valuable as playability. (often times even more valuable)

thats was my thinking, i mean i get HAL JORDAN selling for the $50 range makes sense cause hes super rare and super playable...but man that dial is not worth $50.
