I've broken bones, fallen down/off stairs, roofs, and steeper stairs, ran into trees, mailboxes, ferocious dogs, brick houses, accidently pet the cat in the wrong way at the wrong time, read Austen's Superman, and I have never, ever felt so much pain comparable to playing Silver Surfer.

Has ANYONE beaten ANY stage yet? I think I got 10 seconds into "Firelord" before I was promptly issued a smackdown from an 8bit fireball. That's gotta be a world record. I want a trophy.

This bringing back some good memories.

I could only play the game for 1-2 hours each weekend, my fingers would get numb from pressing the fire button all of the time. Being a huge Silver Surfer fan made me keep at it.

And yes, I have beaten the game..... Twice.:cool:

I'll try to remember, I don't have the game anymore.

Start off with the Skrull level and practice, save the dreaded Fire Lord levels for last.

I beat the Reptile stage I believe. Then I got sick of the game and did the whole think on invincible mode.

Restart the game, there are five areas/levels...

Reptile
Mephisto
Collector/Possessor
Fire Lord
Trying to remeber #5. :rolleyes:

Emperor is #5...which should I play first? I got pretty far in Possessor last night - 45 seconds.

The Emperor, thank you.

Start off with the Emperor levels.

Then play the Mephisto Levels.

After that play either Reptile or Possessor.

Finally, play Fire Lord.

Then get ready for a surprise. :cool:

As you get better, you should be able look ahead and see what's being fired and move accordingly, the only fault that I had with this game is the margin of error with the controls, Surfer hits even one pixel and he's wiping out.

And, since there are enemies that come from behind as well, move those orbs and keep firing. Be ready to ice down your thumb after you're done playing. :laugh:

The only other thing that I can add is, patience and practice.
