Beware of Bagelboy!!! Very Bad Trader!!!

Anyone attempting to trade with Bagelboy (Buck Chard) beware. This member is a liar and came very close to being a thief. This is what happened:

Received an offer at the very begining of July from Bagelboy asking for 1 of 3 figures for a unique I needed. I sent a reply offering him 1 of the figures.

7/7/05 I receive a reply saying that he now wants another figure which was not 1 of the original 3 ha had asked for. I declined.

7/9/05 I receive another offer from Bagelboy saying he had the same figure I needed and asked for 1 specific figure. I accepted the offer and sent my address. Later I receive a message asking to add another figure. I said no.

7/10/05 Another message from Bagelboy asking for another unique to be added with the original one. Again I decline. I ask why he keeps trying to add things to a trade that was already finalized and he said it was his "brother" made the offer and he wants more for the 1 figure I need. He then asks for another different unique with the original one and I decline.
Later he finally accepts the original offer after I offer a CT non he needs.

7/12/05 I receive a response after asking for a DC# and he replies that he had sent the figure, but his "brother" lost the DC #.

7/19/05 Finally, receive another response after figure does not arrive saying that he had sent the package.

7/24/05 Receive another response saying he had sent the figure and asks for my address. Says he can't find the DC # with all of the other DC #s he has. I ask to have all of the #s, so I can check them for myself.

7/27/05 Finally receive another response saying that he doesn't have the DC #. He asks for my address again, so he can check the address he sent the figure to.

7/30/05 Receive a message saying that he cannot do the trade because he "lost" the figure and has been looking for it for 2 weeks now.

This guy is an absolute liar and had I sent the figures to him I have no doubt that he would have kept them and they would have gotten "lost" when he sent them back. This guy is a total scammer and anyone who receives an offer from him should beware. Do not trade with this guy! If you want his address send me a pm and I will give it to you in case he tries to go under another name. :angry:

Just to give an update.

This was Bagelboy's response earlier today:
"dude i thought it was in the mail because i sent three other boxes but i found the dc # for them and i was searching and for two weeks and if i was going to scam u i would done a simu send and just keep it but i dont scam people and the reason i didnt tell u i lost was because i didnt want u to call off the trade until i searched every square inch of my house so sry if u think i am a scammer and i hope we can straighten this out"

He totally contradicts himself by saying that he thought it was in the mail, but he was looking for it for 2 weeks. When I called him on it he finally admits that he lied the entire time because he wanted to back out of the trade. He said he invented a story, so I would call off the trade.

I repeat: DO NOT TRADE WITH BAGELBOY (BUCK CHARD OF TIGARD, OR)

If he would of ripped you off and you had posted that then I would of just drove up to his house for you and asked for your trade or your figures back since Tigard is only 30 minute drive from my house >.<

I appreciate the support guys, but I hardly think that violence over some plastic figures is really necessary. You can hurt him far worse by spreading the word about his poor trading practices and lies. :devious:

wow, am i glad I backed out of the trade I was going to do with him. I was working on it, but he had poor communication, and that made me nervous
