City of Heroes - Help!

The problem is I keep getting booted from the game after around ten minutes

My video card is superior to what they recommend as is my system, memory and so on

It plays for a bit then the screen goes black, and, for as few seconds, I can still move and interact then I am out

Anyone run into this? Any idea of causes? (My ISP denies it is them of course because one of the symptoms is my monitor goes black and then says no signal, as if the monitor was no longer communicating with the CPU)

Any help would be great

I have gotten some stuff from PlayNC but it did not solve this

You got a firewall up? 'Cuz that *seriously* sounds like the kind of thing that Norton (the utility, not the Emperor) would do. See what you've got running in the background (if anything). Alternately, try a different server (the test server might be a good choice). If you've got a status monitor on your connection, you might want to keep an eye on that as well (watch it to see if it spikes or bottoms out when you get dumped - could indicate some kind of cyclic network issue on your ISP's end). And your monitor issues could be explained away by something else entirely. If it's a flat panel (I'm guessing it is), most of them have a native resolution that's higher than CoH. While you're running CoH, your monitor should dumb itself down to CoH levels. Getting dumped from the game would kick you back to your desktop and the monitor's native rez - which could very well trigger a black screen and lost signal while it resets...
