Canadian shipping questions

I know there was once a good thread about what to do on shipping too Canada from the Us but maybe im blind but i cant find it and wa swondering what are the steps too do on both sides of the border. i would ask the other person but he has never done it himself and want to know if there is anything special he needs to do and what i need to do when i send my share

Its just like mailing inside the US, except that you have to fill out a customs sticker at the post office and attatch it to the parcel. We have to do the same when shipping to the states. I always check the "Gift" box and give it a $$ value of under 20$.

Delivery confirmation between countries is expensive.

no kidding, the last trade i did internationally was with the_vision. delivery chargesd were either 3 or 4 bucks for airmail or 16 something for next day with international tracking. my best advice as a noob would be to be patient, do it one side at a time. have the person with fewer feedback send first, keep up good communication, and you should keep from being ripped off by traders and the good old us postal service.
