Seems like everyone in the trading forums is trying to trade one. Were they a door prize at WWC?

So does this mean Wizkids hordes older LEs in their offices (or someplace) and then hands them out at conventions a year or so later? Makes me Yrra seem rather lackluster, but I got her cheap, so it's not a big deal. I'm just jealous at all of the stuff I have to miss out on from a convention because a 16-year-old doesn't follow the law.

Well, that happened with Atom and LE Plastic Man last year, remember?

Some smalltime convention had got cases of them, and a few guys picked'em all up just to trade away...

Still had to pay through the nose to get them, though. *grin*

Aparently they must have given away a good ammount of Rokk Krinn's as well. After a month of 0 auctions on e-bay, there are now at least 3 for Rokk and 4 for Yrra.

Sometimes it pays to wait!

Weird...I won Yrra at the Chicago con two years ago. I'm flabbergasted that the prize support can be repeated ad naseum for sets like Ultimates and Mutant Mayhem but Cosmic Justice, Unleashed, Clobberin' Time, and Critical Mass get the 'one and done' treatment.

I wonder if players are mor or less prone to go to cons if they know they can get their grubby hands on older LE's?!?! Hmmmmmm.... :cheeky:

If anybody wants to trade their LE Yrra Cynril or LE Nova, click here (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1689066) for my trade thread. Reasonable offers, please.

What I found a little irksome was the fact that people (not just kids, but guys that looked old enough to be my father) were literally taking armloads of the bags of the free swag, simply to get as many of the LEs as possible.

Yes, Wizard did have a lot of bags to go around and, yes, they are techically free to the con attendees, but I think it is more than a little sad when I see a 40-something adult tearing through 9 bags (throwing away all the other stuff) just so he can get a couple more Calypso Ezli LEs. And then go back and grab another 8 - 10 bags... I mean seriously people, haven't you ever heard of self-restraint? The way people were burning through those, I am surprised if there were any left for Sunday! I took my one bag that I got with my badge and was happy with it. Why is are people so greedy?

Anybody else see the Fatality LE auction on E-bay for over $40.00?

Anybody else see the Fatality LE auction on E-bay for over $40.00?

if it's the one I was looking at, the seller seemed rather suspicious. He has only sold a handfull of items, most of them with negative feedback. He also sold a case of Mutant Mayhem that was "opened to verify contents". What bull. Folks have been pulling that scam for years now (open several cases, get all the uniques from a case, then bundle the unopened pachs together and sell them as cases)

It also seemed rather suspicious that he only had like 4-5 auctions up and they were for:

Yrra Cynrill
Matt Murdock
Rokk Krinn
Rupert
Betsy Braddok
Leonard Sampson

Some of the rarest LE's made!

I e-mailed him and asked him to send over a pic of the actual figure and never got a response.

I'm still looking for a Rokk, by the way!
