Will Icons drop value of KC Supes?

I am wondering what people think the new Icons Superman will do to the price/desire for KC Superman? From what I see the stats on the Icons superman are very good. What if anything would a comparable superman from Icons do to the value of KC Superman (both in trade value and in monitary value)?

I am curious to see what people think.

No matter how good V supes will be he will not change the rarity of KC supes. That is a large part of what makes him desirable.

Yet the introudcution of the new REV nightcawler has led to a bit of a dip in the U's value. But that also has to do with the fact that that Nightcrawler is retired. And with the rate Dc puts out sets KC Supes should be retired sometime around 2025

I see it not only from a power standpoint, but also from a difference between the two sculpts/characters. Let's say that the Icons Supes has similar powers to KC (I'm guessing, as I can't seem to find these "stats" that other people are talking about) and similar values. Many people will field him a lot more than KC, as the Superman Team Ability (and even the JLA ability) is arguably more useful than the KC ability. However, a lot of people (myself included) love KC Supes for both the powers and who he is (basically the God-like harbinger of earthly destruction that he is in Kingdom Come).

For example, if they were to release an old-school Wesley Dodds Sandman unique, I'd play him into the ground (and probably pay whatever I had to to get him). But if two sets later they released the modern-styled Sandman (the JSA one, not Dream) as an REV, I'd still have the same affinity for the Dodds piece just because I like the character/look.

...then again, most of KC Supes value can probably be attributed to the tendency for clix fans (again, myself included) to go "Hey! Look what I got!"
