View Full Version : Which is the Best Flash?
Flash is the HOT PIECE in this set, Let's find out which one is everyone's Favorite Flash.
I think the Icons one is the best so far.
I'll take a high defense over Super Senses, and the Outwit on REV HT Flash was always kind of wasted--you never used it, as he was always doing a hit and run.
Plus, the mid-dial HSS/Willpower combo is pretty smooth.
Then again--they haven't made a bad Flash. REV, Icons, Kid Flash, KC Flash--they're all effective.
I really had to think on this as I like the Experienced Hypertime Flash, and I like KC FLASH and ICONS Flash. Icon Flash won me over because he is more affordable and has those points availavle to throw on some feats (swingline, ICWO). Plus, his later Hypersonic willpower mean I can get to the medic when I need to. CHEESE, HA-HA-HA!!!

Damage Shield, to me is a worthless feat. :ermm: Not sure why, it just has zero appeal to me. I don't like it.
Anyway, this is a tough poll for me to vote, because as thugit pointed out, there is NO bad Flash.
Like rock810 pointed out, I too like the E Flash from HT, KC Flash, and Icons Flash as well. But I think Icons Flash is cheap enough to be considered over KC Flash, and has more user friendly capabilities than E HT Flash!
The only thing he's missing is the JLA TA, but that would've made him broken, and people would be whining and crying about him, almost as much as Superman.

i definitely had to go with KC flash in this one, although i see myself using ICON flash often, and enjoying it.
The main differences in the two, i think, are 1)IC Flash has a 'wasted' power on his first few clicks in the form of quake, which doenst work with HSS, and 2)IC flash is grounded, which is a HUGE disadvantage for any close combat hypersonic piece (any HSS piece, for that matter) Oh, and an impromptu third, KC has a nice click of front-loaded outwit, just in case you need it.
Now, IC has some advantages in the form of the very nice HSS + willpower combo, which i believe is a first (correct me if im wrong). that is going to prove *extremely* handy for mid-late game, since pushing is a major concern for both pieces. also, the cheap addition of swingline helps get around hindering, but doesnt help getting up on buildings on outdoor maps.
Overall, both are great figures to use and make for teams that are competitive *and* fun. I look forward to IC flash, but KC flash still holds the top spot on my list.

This one was pretty easy compared to say Batman or Superman. Even for me those 2 would be easy to figure out.
Is it too late to add Zoom to the list?

I like Zoom over Icons Flash, because of his late huge phasing + outwit.
But KC has a huge advantage : he's a flyer. So he's not blocked by hindering terrain.

I voted for the U Legacy Flash. Him being able to fly made it much harder for me to choose anyone else. Also, the Kingdom Come TA made it even more difficult.

i like this piece alot. he's fun to play, and when playin' against can become a thorn in your side. i've witnessed on both sides the horror of his charge/exploit weakness.

Icons Flash wins for me. He's just so affordable for what he does. KC Flash is a very close second, though.

DEFINATELY icons flash for me...i mean, as much as legacy flash is great. i just dont think he is as well represented as icons flash...i think kc flash would be lots stronger....seriously. and yeah, so based off of pure comic book representation...icons flash for me...because if u really think about it. u could add tons of cards to him to equal kc flashes cost. and he'd be tons better....what if icwo him and have oracle playing as well? outwit, perplex, or leadership whenever u need it. he could be very brutal.

Damage shield is only worthless by itself. Take an Avenger (tb'd to mystic) or Mystic, and slap on DS plus Armor piercing.
Now your opponent takes 2 non-reduce-able clicks in the face everytime they hit up up close instead of 1. Which will kick the snot out of them.
Yes that's 20 (25) points, but 20 (25) points that could be EXTREMELY well spent.

Sweet I was the 400th vote! I like all of them I voted for the Leg- but don't got one but he look's the best. But I would have to say ICON's :cool:
I went with KC Flash.
I just have a hard time playing him apparently [inside joke] :laugh:

well i guess i'm one of the few that really like the original HT unique. i jsut like that 20 speed so damn much...i can hit you from anywhere on the board practically, and jsut slap an armor piercing and there's a 111 point pice that can hit for 1 every time if his 10 attack stays true, and has a hard time being hit because he can run away into hiding. of course for those 111 points you could get a VET LEGACY Batman, wich in my opinion is one of the best figures in the game.

I liked the vet so he was able to outwit someone's damage reducers so he could actually touch them.
i also went with KC Flash, but it was very close between the ICONS Flash, the only reason i chose KC was because of the Front Loaded Outwit and the 12 attack, stick ICWO on him and boost his defence and KC Supes will need an 8 to hit you, scary :confused:
I went with Jay Garrick, HT Unique. Love that 20 movement! :)
