Wesley Snipes to play Black Panther

I heard this on the radio while I was working thre other night, and I was wondering if anybody has any other information on this.

I've heard rumors for years that he was wanting to do this role, but it was held up due to legal issues.

I guess that it's finally gonna happen.

Since he's already worked in the genre of comic/superhero, he's a safe choice.

John Singleton and Wesley Snipes have been talking about making a Black Panther movie for decades. Singleton first started talking about it after Boyz N tha Hood became a success. Nothing has ever come of it in all these years. I see no reason to believe that has changed.

If I had never seen Blade 3, I'd probably think this was a good idea, but I don't think Snipes has it in him. They'll probably re-cast The Rock as the star. My vote would go for Chris Rock, Bernie Mac, or possibly Jude Law.
