This is just a thread for the game. I really like the Sands of time and found it one of the best games I ever played. It was frusterating the fist time I played so I stoped playing it for 6 months( a LONG time), but just recently I picked it up and started playing and beat it. I really liked the ending. I plan on picking the second one soon. I would like to know what it means on the back by Sexual Themes, I mean what hapens in the game that that neds to be put on it. And is it worth buying. I will say Two Thrones the new one that comes out in December seems awesome. It looks somewhat like a copy of the Jak games with the Dark Prince and all.

I'm also a big fan of this series. Sands of Time is one of the best games I've played in the past five years. I rented and started playing the second one, but I couldn't get into it as much. They just made the Prince a more hard-edged character and that made me miss the way he was in the first game. But it still played a lot like the first game. My roommate played it all the way through and said that it was better than the first one, so I'll have to give it a second chance sometime before the third one comes out.

I couldn't get into it as much refering to Warrior Within
Bought it today and I will say it is no Sands of Time. Sands of Time had a GREAT story, almost if not better then the Legend of Zelda games(N64 and before, Wind Waker is terrible). There is not much of an intriging story in this one. They made it darker, gorier, and definnetly more sexual, I mean come on, she is half naked that is uneeded in a game. The Sands of Time was game of the Year this one didn't even have a chance, too narrow of an audiance. I would still play it though so you are not left out in the blue before Two Thrones comes out. The Dahka is the coolest villian in any game ever though!

Well, I just recently got Sands of Time and I LOVE it right now. (I'm only like 5 % of the way through.
So... was 2 thrones as good as sands of time? Was it better than WW?

Two Thrones > Sands of Time > Warrior Within.

Two Thrones > Sands of Time > Warrior Within.
Alright.
Is Warrior Within really that bad of a game? (Just curious)
I've only played the Gamecube version for most of it and it's fairly fun. The real failing of the game is when it glitches up and the switch to reach the next area was missing, making it impossible to advance and ruining a save file. If you get lucky and that doesn't happen to you, or if you for some reason think that sounds like fun, then you'll probably enjoy it a bit.
The first one set a high standard though so that's the bigger reason (to me at least) why people dislike WW.

Oh, Warrior Within certainly isn't a bad game. It's definitely fun. However, it has a lot of flaws, which are as follows:
It focuses less on trap corridorrs and interaction with the terrain itself (which is what made Sands of Time so great) and more on the (improved) fighting system. The fighting system honestly gets repetitive...and the Prince isn't nearly as funny as he is in the first game (the funniest dialogue of any Prince of Persia game occurs in Two Thrones, imo, between Prince/Dark Prince, but that's neither here nor there) - in fact, he isn't funny at all. He's supposed to be all dark and gritty. The supporting cast is fairly weak, just two women in incredibly revealing outfits who don't ever have any interesting interaction or dialogue with the Prince. There are also a lot of boss battles, and the boss battles in this game are boring. You'll be dreading boss battles in Warrior Within, and not because they're too difficult (on the other hand, boss battles in Two Thrones incorporate the speed kill system, which rules, and also some actual strategy).
