So, aside from

The Snetry mini (1-5)
Sentry/X-Men
Sentry/FF
Sentry/Hulk
Sentry/Spider-Man
Sentry vs The Void
New Avengers (1-10, the ones he's appeared in)
The Sentry (current mini)

Has he appeared in anything else?

I'm almost completely sure he hasn't.

I rather liked the mini series when I first read it so I've sorta kept an eye out for any further adventures, although it felt as though it wrapped itself up nicely to the point where we'd never see him again. Guess New Avengers taught me otherwise.

:) Jenkins wrote a new mini that started this month. Sentry Under the Eye of the Cloc. He is dealing with being the most powerful super hero in the world and having a rough time of it.

Yeah, I'm reading that, and mentioned it in my original post [The Sentry (current mini)]. ;)

he didnt get the chance to get his ### kicked, or kick anyone eles for that matter. Photon teleported him to another universe, possibly the N-Zone, taking him out of the fight.

Actually he sent him into the micro verse, where he was able to shunt the power that Sentry was able to draw on.

Zing!

Wasn't meant to be! And don't forget...Spider-Woman beat the snot out of Joystick! :p

Wasn't meant to be! And don't forget...Spider-Woman beat the snot out of Joystick! :pMan, I want to reread both of those issues again... They're great. I love Fabian.

Sentry: "I don't know you."
Photon: "You don't even know you."

Altas Vs. Cage was the best fight in there, and so believable! Something that I've come to expect from Fabian: Sensible writing and entertaining storytelling that has CONTINUITY. Apparently, most other writers are allergic to that.

I'm also glad that he brought back Blizzard (I hope he rejoins the actual team, too).

What exactly are the Sentry's powers?

Sentry's powers are unknown other than the fact that he's super strong, super fast, and has a personal field around him. All the other things that people say about him (has range, has the power of 1,000,000 exploding suns, and the fact that he can phase-shift one second before others) have yet to be proven as nothing more than heresay that's been repeated over and over. The current Sentry series is supposed to define his abilities.

I think in the context of the comic-Sentry draws his powers from various sources (though that's the first time I've heard that, usually-it's the sun), and Photon is able to draw on that power and funnel it elsewhere.

As for the New Thunderbolts....it was alright. I only picked up those two issues because of the New Avengers. Something about Nicieza's writing style coupled with the fact that the New T-bolt characters don't interest me very much, doesnt translate into something that I want to buy.

But there were some great moments (like your Sentry/Photon conversation), and the method that Atlas used to rid himself of Cage ( which has to go down as one of the best I've ever read).

Hey ... I didn't got those Thunderbolt issues. How does Atlas handles Cage?

Atlas punches through the Quinjet (or whatever the craft is) and the Avengers fall out. As they fall, Iron Man grabs Captain America and Atlas grabs Cage. While holding Cage, the two have a conversation.

Atlas: "You believe we fought over a name neither of us use anymore?"
Cage: "I believe I won."
Atlas: "Kicked my butt fair and square. Hey, you know how to swim?"
Cage: "That a racist crack?"
Atlas: "Nope, Just curios."
Cage: "How come?"
Atlas: "Figure it out."

*Throws Cage miles into the ocean*

However, that's part of the price you pay for using years upon years of continuity. Many of the characters have been around for a few decades. I'mjust amazed at how interesting he managed to make some of the lamest characters in history.

My venue's regular judge buys and reads Thunderbolts each and every month, but he does nothing but say how bad the book is. When I ask him why he still buys it, he says it's so popular, it's either going to get good or become worth something. I can't tell if it's a joke to annoy me (very well could be as it's something he's been saying for a few months now) or if it's a sincere opinion of the book. Either way, I just wish he would stop with the comments or with buying the book.

I probably would have had interest in New Avengers if it didn't seem to be Marvel's attempt at "Instant Seller" with the team line-up at the start. Wolverine AND Spiderman on the team? *Sigh* Sad thing is, after it came out, I heard nothing but good about the story-telling. Maybe if I can get the back issues easily, I'll pick them up (not real likely, though).

They were okay, I've really liked the New Thunderbolts series, but the fight was way to easy. Cap and Iron Man alone should have been a tough battle even with prior prep time and moves.

The Cage/Atlas bit was really the only good part imho (and I'm not a big fan of the New Avengers, their book isn't nearly as good).

Of course, the Thunderbolts do kind of cut and run before the Avengers can regroup and start taking names. Kind of a throw a few punches, and duck out before the fight gets intense.

They do seem to have it in for the Avengers though (first the Purple Man stuff, and now this).
