Let it be said that I'm just a guy from Ohio who has a dream... And that dream is that with the coming of Armor Wars that once and for all that you will not have to sell your soul to "he who must not be named" to get a Unique that is any good...Maybe now with a market flooded with uniques that you might be able to get what you want at a fair price, or a decent trade? That's what this is all about right? FAIR and EVEN right? Not the guy with the most money. right? The world of heroclix is on a dark path oh yes it is .Instead of wizkids helping us there hurting us right? Clixbricks? Mailways?Con only figs? Is that help? Not for the underdog no way just another way to keep those fools with the rolling toolboxs in power....Well not this time. Its time to step up to the plate and brake the knees of the toolbox boys and give the game back to players.......

The Malcom X of Heroclix....Hmm... I'm not quite certain of what to make of this. I'm not the richest person out there, yet due to hard work and great efforts on my part (as well as a mix of luck) I have managed to pick up many of the "Sell your soul" pieces. It was (still is) a hard battle for me especially since I didn't start to play in tournaments until Ultimates came out. This means I missed some big pieces like Hal Jordan, Bruce Banner, Annihilus, Blastaar of Baluur, Pamela Isley, Oliver Queen, Alex O'hirn, Rupert, Dr. Karla Sofen... Granted not all of these were tournament prizes, but hey, should all LEs be? It's another way to promote the game. IF you want a piece bad enough (And I'm not really sure why people would want Pamela or Karla unless you're like me) you would get it. To be reasonable, Wizkids hasn't had any "Hard to get" pieces since Polaris, unless you count the one-of-a-kind Masterpiece figures... Most likely, this will start up again with Armor Wars LEs, but the uniques should no longer be Thor/KC bad to come by.

Don't feel bad k-ness, I've been playing since the promo spidey came out and I missed out on all those LE's you mentioned too. :(
Of course, I suck at tourney play..... :(
So now I just mainly play at home, :laugh:

To avoid the price and the chase, I declared way back when Xplosion came out that I would only collect LE's or any kind of exclusive if they had a different mold, paint, or team ability. Since then they have ruined true team abilities and since a figure has a team ability to represent a power just as much to represent a team, I collect complete sets and any exclusives which are of a different mold or paint job. I must say getting some are a lot worse than other, take Dark Knight Detective Batman, I waited that mother out and got one on Efart for ten bucks, which was much cheaper than ordering wizard and Galactus as well with Phoenix drove me out several miles to Dallas but was well worth it. Yeah I probably wont ever get my investment back on all of my complete sets, but at least I can have a complete wall of my room filled with inch high minis. My only fear is that if they ever stop making heroclix, will I still continue to give a damn??? If they make them for another twenty years, I think they could make almost all the major concievable figs and variants.

Naw the big silly reads Harry Potter, now I read the WoT series. Glad to see I'm not the only dork who can find time to read over 800 pgs a book.. :)
