Hard call for me. Spiderman 2099 is by far the coolest looking. But I had to vote for the Ultimate REV since he's the one I usually use. Gotta give due props to the Spiderman that sees the most play.

V Ultimate Spider-Man and the E Starter Spidey are the only two Spideys that I've ever used.

Vet Ult Spidey is most definately my most used Spidey. Perfect. :)

agreed, how do you argue with SS, willpower, leapclimb and wildcard for 58 pts?

I think you're missing the Universe Starter Pack Spidey.
Critical Mass Spiderman all the way. Ah, the joy of mid-dial Defend with an 18.

I only want comic acurate dials and nice sculps.
The more nice sculp is still the Inf Challenger Spider-Man, a classic very good.
The more perfect dial for Spider-Man is the Vet from Mutant mayhen.
But is nice and cheap play with the Universe if you are running out of points.

I think you're missing the Universe Starter Pack Spidey.
The lowest cost and one of the best figures for Pounce.

I voted based on the amount of play usage...Now, favorite sculpt would be a tie between the 2099 and 6-ARM Spidey.

did they leave off the starter spidey cause he's obviously the best verson?

Personally I don't care for the Starter Spidey all that much. I like the staying power and potential of the Vet Ult Spidey more.
Now if we were talking sculpts: Spidey 2099 would have gotten my vote. :)

I can't decide! To me, they're all missing something. The new AW Spidey has a pretty great dial, except he has no TA. The original IC Spidey has great numbers, but is missing Super Senses (how could they forget that??) and has a short range.
And of course none of them have 6 range and 2 targets!! Something I'd consider freakin' obvious if I wasn't faced with the reality of 19 Spideys that didn't get it.
If they would just give a Spidey 6 range 2 targets and his own TA (on the same figure), I would be happy. They seem to be pretty good at everything else.

I use the hell out of the promo Spidey. 8 Range!!

I voted for CM Spidey, because he's my favorite Spidey sculpt. (I like 2099 too, but if you know your lore, he's not actually Spidey, so I didn't wanna vote for him. Great sculpt though.)
I had high hopes for the House of M spidey, but I really don't like they pose he's in. It just looks awkward.
I never play any spideys. I'm an X-Men fan, so I usually have mutant-heavy teams, just because of my nature. (If I need a power, or power combo, I look for an X-Man who has it before looking to my otehr figures, in other words) My friends a Spider-Man fan, he's played with damn near all of them at least once.
In any event, I think CM was the bet "Peter Parker" spidey sculpt. I also think that taht being said, I also think the XP, Ult, & MM Spideys were completely unnecissary (once again, this is from a visual figure standpoint, not a gameplay one. I have no idea of their gameplay value.) Though XP predates CM, so I suppose little can be doen about that one. Ult & MM however seemed a waste of a good slot to me. Could have at least made a Ben Reilly Spidey, or a Cosmic Spidey, or an Armored Spidey, or any of the other 100 Spidey variants out there. So many versions of the same figure in the same costume, in relatively uninteresting poses kinda dissapointed me. (Same as Elektra, Daredevil, and a few of the Hulks ya'know? But at least the Hulks usually change versions, unlike the Spideys. The hulks are different and interesting Hulks form different eras. Only 2 (not counting mail-away leaping since it wasn't an actual "set piece") were your standard classic, "Savage Hulk." as opposed to Spidey's 4.
Wolverine has been great with change-ups too. No two have been the same version thus far. Basically all I'm saying is we've all accepted it as inevitable that we'll get a Spidey, a Wolvy, and quite often a Hulk in each set, but at least the other two haven't become as stale as Spidey has. Sculpt wise.
What does surprise the hell outta me however, is that we haven't seen an Astonishing Wolverine in this set. (Couls have been REV, leaving U for House of M I guess. Iunno...) I was really expecting what with Spider-Woman, Sentry, & Power Man all hitting the clix world so close together, an Avengers Wolvy wouldn't be far behind. Meh... *Shrugs*

Sculpt wise, I agree with Gillbob. There does need to be a change up. Maybe a damaged costume spidey, or another non-peter spidey. Heck, I wouldn't mind for another black suit rev, or the blown out 6 arm actual spider spider-man. Stats wise, CM or Ult hands down. Willpower/leap climb/ super strength/wild card is amazing. Add the 10 speed, 10 attack, 17 defence, and 2 damage for only 58 points! dang. pop him up 15 points to give him 10 range, 11 attack, and possible 5 damage (6 with the soda machine) and he is smokin'. I play spider-man a lot, and those are the only two versions I use often. I have used the MM Peter Parker before, but I feel it a waste to spend 20 points for the FF TA of the exp. 58 points is just too tempting.

I'm aware this is rather harsh but Spiderman should die:P Hahaha sorry guys but this poll is my bane he's my least favourite comic book character likewise making him my least favourite clix.

The promo Spidey would be my top choice. Doesn't look like its even featured in the list, though.

Six arm Spidey now we need a Spider-Hulk (cover both hulk and spider-man with one figure).

All of the Spideys seem off in one thing or another. Pounce is the real winner in this poll. Without it only the Vet Ultimates and Critical Mass versions have anything left to offer. The latest version got gimped by Incap up front but also offers a little. Still without that pounce, Spiderman just isn't.

I went with Ult LE Peter Parker. For the exact same reason as Stark's Heir.
( I totally love the look of 6-Armed and 2099, But one is no good and I dont have the other )
I played in a Pre-release game vs AW Spiderman and found him to be lacking.
The missing TA really hurt the figures playability.
Not to mention that everyone was saying that they Should have made the Armored Spiderman

I think Spiderman House of M is best
with Pounce feat card because then
you could do up to 5 damage with close
combat!
I chose the LE Peter Parker (Ult.) because he is the "Ultimate" team player among the Spider-Men.
Very tough choice though...

For cost and effectiveness: Universe Starter E Spider-Man
Personal fav: Ultimates LE Peter Parker

I voted House of M.
I cast my vote for the Vet Ultimates Spidey as well. He is just too good of a value for all of the reasons everbody else has posted. For 58 points you really couldn't ask for much more.
The more I look at the AW Spider-Man the more I want him though. Looks to be a pretty useful piece, hopefully I'll be able to pick one up soon.

House of M definetely.
From his first two clix where he can deal a lot of damage with high attack (or incap your opponent's big bruisers with 6 range and 11 attack), to where he's at 18 defense, and ends with CCE again, he just doesn't have a bad click at all.

Best Sculpt: 2099
Best Pose: CM
Most Dangerous: AW
Most Comic Accurate: MM (Vet)
What the ^$*&@# were they thinking: IC (No super senses?!? WTF?!?!?)
Being a fan of the character, I prefer comic accurate. If the TA isn't needed then MM Peter Parker (or now the AW unique) is a nice alternative. Really want to try the new one....

CM Leap Frog Spidey all the way!
Deep dial, Super senses, Defend with 18, High Attack, and the rest of the spidey powers!
Hes the Best Pouncer!!! He can pounce right into an 18 defence with Defend and easy to heal right before he hits that click! Add Wild Card and your good to go.

I gotta vote for the Universe Spidey. For 55 points, you still get the wildcard, SS, and capable of doing 5 damage with a pounce...
Wow...just...wow...

IC SPider-Man is definetly an example of how IC tested the waters, and a lot of figs have since then become obsolete.
IC SPidey still has an awesome sculpt though.

Wow, go Ultimate Spidey. I'm still a big fan of MM Spidey. He's just proved to be useful and long lasting for me overall. Black outfit is my second favorite. Ultimates works great for pounce fanatics, but I like my clicks to have a lot of staying power as well. Ult. Peter is also a favorite of mine, but mostly for the T/A and the perplex.
Someone said it right earlier: all the versions are good but until we see a click that combines the best elements, we're never gonna see an 'accurate' Spidey.
Here's my take:
U Spider-man
Spider-man Ally TA, Boot Move, Range 6, 2 Lightning Bolts
MOV 10 09 08 08 07 07 06 06 05
ATK 11 10 09 08 08 07 07 08 09
DEF 17 16 15 15 18 17 16 15 15
DMG 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02
Key
Leap/Climb
Super Senses/Flurry
Incapacitate
Defend
Super Strength
Perplex
Outwit
As a huge Spidey fan, I think that is as close as you will get to an accurate Spider-man. You combine the best elements of all the REVs thus far. However, how you would get all that under 100pts, well...you just couldn't :P

I actually use the Exp Utl Spidey more than the Vet Ult Spidey, just because he is a pounce monster. It also reminds me not to push him into it, since the click of damage ignores the Willpower.
Confusing I know, but that's just the way I roll. He's done me proud many times before. For me CM Spidey is a close 2nd.

R Ult Spidey and R Iron Fist w/ Pounce...what a great combo! However, the E Universe Starter Spidey is the best for the cost.

I like the MM V dial the best, but I give the CM one first considerations when making a team just because of the mid-dial defend and he's a good pouncer, but I had to vote for the IC Unique, he was the first unique I pulled, and has a special place in my heart....he drops like a stone, but whatever.
Is this favourite based on how the figure looks or dial representations?
I would vote differently if so

MM for comic accuracy. CM gets a close 2nd for playability. 18 Defend mid-dial = ouch!

House of M Spider Man, ALL THE WAY!!! I recently played a "friendly" game with my cousin a week back and beat the fire out of his Count Nefaria. You gotta love that click of super strength with flurry while holding a dumpster.
Though I have to admit that Spider Man had some help prior to his attack when I Nova Blasted his entire team for 4 clicks with Nimrod. Needless to say I pretty much just used Spider Man to desecrate the corpse of Count Nefaria after an attack like that.
That Spider Man, he's a bad Mamma Jamma!!!
