i took another look at HoM magneto, and decided to take another crack at what figures could support him best:
187 pts. U Magneto (Armor Wars)
87 pts. U Carnage
51 pts. R Shaman
45 pts. R Psylocke (Armor Wars)
20 pts. In Contact with Oracle (Magneto, Carnage)
10 pts. Nanobots (Carnage)
Total: 400 pts.
today was just a regular non-tourney gaming today at a local venue, so i threw together a team similar to this, but with some extra feats and such. i had 10 points to spare, so, for fun, i just threw it on carnage. what i didnt know is that carnage and nanobots were made for each other. these two worked extremely well together, as carnage is a close-combat type of figure, and is nearly garunteed to take damage. so, with a full dial of leap climb, he can break away whenever he pleases and run to the nearest object to heal up. my original healing on the team was a medic running around on lockjaw, but that didnt serve much of a purpose most of the game. so, i opted out for R shaman in this case, since he can not only heal characters, but he also has barrier, in which he can put up walls so mags can't get hurt. he also has phasing, so he can hang back until i need him for a quick heal. psylocke is here for the obvious reason of her having both perplex and the shield TA.
