Forgive me for jumping the gun since we don't have a date or a build total, but what new strategies await us for the CD prerelease?
With Armor Wars being legal, Veteran Echo, Tbolt Cap and Iron Man, Shellhead, Protected, Repulsor Shield, Nanobots and more await us along with our old friends V Supes, LAMP, and E Pouncing Spidey!
Besides posting a team (optional) be sure to post any insights.

5 BFCs: OD, Isolation, Disbanded, Rally, and a placeholder
Well, here's a team idea I've been planning to use (posted previously elsewhere). Unfortunately, it suffers (like LAMP) from being neutered by Poor Teamwork. And, like LAMP, it won't do well against Brainiac teams. And Isolation hurts it too.
I'll call this my protected blades swarm (PBS) team:
Morlock Leader + Protected
Zelda Dubois + Protected
E-Black Panther + Protected
V-Jinx + Protected
V-Lockjaw (+ Double Time) x2
R-Lockjaw (+ Double Time)
V-Black Knight (+ Double Time + Thunderbolts)
The thrust of this team is to get the Morlock Leader over to my opponent's starting area with one Lockjaw. The other guys are carried over there as well on turn one (giving ML the chance to use the Morlock team ability). This gives me Flurry & BCF with Morlock Leader, BCF + Plasticity to keep people from running away with Zelda, Outwit + BCF with Black Panther (outwit needed to keep HSS characters from running away and to make flyers not soar), and PC with Psychic Blast (for use against a flying heavy hitter) with Jinx. Jinx and Black Knight will probably be Mystics, though Jinx can be a morlock when needed.
The Protected feats may keep my attackers safe until it's my turn again, and then I can unleash the damage with 4 BCF attacks (possibly pushing to do so). And then the next turn, my secret weapon (Black Knight) runs in with charging exploit weakness, while the Lockjaws play clean up (and kill medics).
Other ideas I was considering: I wanted to have Hawkeye and Black Knight (and/or Ghost Rider) be the transporters who would be my backup attackers, but overall, I needed to save points by using Lockjaws instead. I wanted Justice is Served, but I decided I'd rather use Zelda who was cheaper anyway. I considered Mad Thinker instead of Jinx, since his willpower helps against the protected feat's token, but Jinx is just so much more versatile. I also was considering the new starter-Batman (or Deathstroke) instead of Black Panther, but BCF is too tempting. Also, V-Shi would've been nice to use, but too expensive without providing an extra "must have" power. And I considered Taskmaster too.
Expect to see a whole mess of Protecteds to be played; and plan accordingly...
Best way around Protected is Incapacitate.
I plan on running KC Flash with Nanobot's. Or maybe V hawkeye. I'm not sure yet, but I won't win against Lamp for the most part. Superman will die though. it is Inevetible.
