Hey all, well I am back for week 2 are you all ready for me? :nervous:
So I havent had a chance to read the titles I picked up this week. So lets talk about the major events in comics right now. What are your feelings on the Infinite Crisis in DC? Do you like seeing all these characters that havent had exposure in ages? I Love crossovers, as long as I dont have to buy every title that the company makes. I like seeing the obscure characters have a role in the big events. It should be interesting to see them explain the whole older altrenate earth Superman's presence.
As for Marvel, for those of you reading the new X-men series WHO IS THE VILLIAN???
I hear alot of people saying Proteus, just for fun I tell my friends its Stryfe. haha
Daredevil is always a good read, I dont like the fact that Brubaker will be writing it though. Why does Marvel always have one person write half of thier titles?
I recently pitched a story to Marvel, so I will pitch it to you guys and see what you think.
Its based on a 4 man Shield team, these guys are sent in to deal with things that you dont send the Avengers to or that you dont want attention being drawn too. Paranormal, serial killer kind of stuff. Anyways Fury basically watches news reports from all over the world and sends this team to investigate, he also recruits B-level heroes to help (can you say Prowler). In the first storyline there have been some serial killings in NYC and upon researching the case we find out that Morbius is the killer. I also have some ideas for Wendigo and Fin Fang Foom.
My other pitch to them is a mini-series based on the Vault (the maximum security prison). In this storyline we see that the guy running the Vault went to school with Reed Richards and is a well respected intelligent guy. But we see what happens behind closed doors, he dissects the villians and tries to give himself power. In the end the villians are more afraid of the Warden then the heroes who put them in the prison.
So until next week, here is my comic suggestion to you all Girls, the Luna Brothers are amazing!!!!
