There's a fantastic dual exhibition going on in LA right now, at the Hammer Museum (http://www.hammer.ucla.edu/exhibitions/94/) and at the Museum of Contemporary Art (http://www.moca.org/museum/exhibitiondetail.php?id=358). The collections trace comics from the early Yellow Kid strips to modern Marvel and DC stuff (with special attention paid to indy titles). If you can't make it to LA, the exhibit catalog (http://www.moca.org/store/product_detail.php?pID=1279) would make a swell gift for any comic fan (I'm getting a comp copy because - full disclosure time - a friend of mine is handling the press materials for the Hammer show).

Neat! I'll have to add this to my Birthday/Christmas wish list.

I did just find out I'm getting the Little Nemo in Slumberland collection that's just come out. My wife is the coolest wife ever.
