I probably would to since they are rarer than the U's I mean really if you could get an rev you'd be making out pretty well.

I would add Wolverine to the list of Uniques from AW, that I wouldn't trade 1 for 1 for a Vet.

other than that I would be willing to tradeany of the other Uniques straight across for a high level vet. Luckily, I don't have to.

Yeah I agree with you guys 100%, but I would probably only trade for either a Vet War Machine or Iron Man because those two are by far the most playable of the uber-rare veterans. With the others being Captain America and Ultron I'd probably only do other nons regardless of rarity because I'm more concerned with playability. Not to say that Cap is unplayable he is a good piece but the Experienced is probably the best version and definitely the one I would use the most.

I will in the end I am sure. I bought four boosters yesterday and got three uniques and one veteran. If this keeps up I will have to trade for most of the veterans.

The thing is in a case you get 16 uniques and only a handfull of uber-rare Vets

I wouldn't go bananas with just any vet. Any fig up to Sunfire, if I remember correctly, is an uncommon, and they will turn up. I find that Psylocke is the toughest uncommon Vet that people are going to want and not find. Quicksilver shouldn't have as much demand, in my opinion. There's always gonna be figs missing, so don't jump the gun (the last two pieces I needed to finish my set Vet Spymaster and Rookie Banshee).

Easy Vets to get:
- Crimson Dynamo
- Titanium Man

Moderately difficult, maybe a low unique, if you really need it:
- Dazzler
- Executioner

Trade a unique for them:
- Captain America (ridiculous at $15, though)
- War Machine
- Iron Man
- Ultron (he's tough, whether anyone wants him or not...)

Now, uniques. Obviously, the longer you wait, the smaller people's want lists are going to get. Go look on the trader thread... the top 3 or 4 always maintain some demand. Ol'Duts list show the bottom feeders at $5-8, so if you hurry, you might help a completist finish while he still has spares, and you can pick them up cheap later. A month after the set is out, the completists are done, and people stop opening large volumes of packs.

Top 3, keep 'em:
- Magneto
- Sentry
- Wolverine

Hold onto them if you like them, trade them for a top Vet if you're stuck:
- Black King
- Iron Man
- Shathra

Trade for a Vet asap, and get them back later:
- Crystal
- Iron Monger
- Jocasta
- Mystique
- Spider-Man
- Spider-Woman

Man looking at this thread after two months you can really see how things have changed from our initial thoughts and boy were we wrong. The only figures fetching any money from the set are Iron Man and the other uber-rare Vets the Upper-level uniques go for only $10-$12 while a Vet Iron-man can go for as much as $30 in some cases. I wish I could have traded for one back when we made this thread,.. when we didn't think trading a Sentry or Mags. for a Vet. Iron man was fair sigh....:(
