I mentioned previously how big a fan I am of marvels recent crop of minis that detail the origin of the character, especially when they do villains. Books of Doom is shaping up to be awsome and Bullseyes greatest hits was great to. In that vain what comic book stories do you think NEED to be told or re-told?
I was reading the bio of a bunch of characters on marvel directory and 2 jumped out at me right away: Kraven and Pyro. Kraven is one of my favorite characters, so anything about him would be cool but what they hint at in his origin. The big game hunter, the former nobility all of thise would be cool to see in detail.
More importantly though, I think the greatest untold marvel yet is pyro. He was a cheap romance novelist that travelled the world looking for a story to write. If done right this would be an awsome almost story of the writer on the road and all of the adventures he gets himself into. Have it take place at the dawn of the mutant age, hjave him meet a love that he loses let us see alot of the classic mutant moments through the eyes of this romantic adventurer traveling the world.
I think the story is ripe with possibility have it end with him meeting the brotherhood.
I'd also like to see the origin of "The Russian" but that'll probally never happen.
