Look for "thisweeksitems" on eBay. This seller has 20 REV sets of Iron Man, Executioner, etc... currently listed.
Either he's the reason why no one could get the Armor Wars figs they wanted - he must have purchased half the cases in wave 1 - or he is trying to set someone up...
Does anyone know about him?
Color me suspicious.

That is quite interesting. You may want to contact him or some people that have gotten items from him before and question it. It does seem a lil fishy, and it never hurts to ask a simple enough question.

Thats the most ridiculous thing Ive seen concerning heroclix on ebay in quite some time. There must be a mistake.
Looks to be a collectibles store, probably just opened a #### ton of cases. Looks legit to me, there's easier ways to scam than this if it was one.
I would think some higher profile pieces would be in order if a scam was really going to go down.

Cause these places operate by hitting on the newest thing and moving on, they don't want stock sitting around. They want to get it in, and get it right the heck out and make what profit they can.
Not the greatest business plan ever, but an effective one if you can stay ahead of the curve.
I think this guy/store is legit. No reason to get Ebay jumpy since the Sifulama scam.
I hope he's fer-real, I just bought 3 rev sets from him before seeing this post. Yeesh, I was wondering why all the rev sets that were barely posted today were getting taken so quickly, now I know: his name showed up on this forum.
Eh, I'm testing the waters also, but I wish he had a BIN option. :p I hate waiting 6 days to see if I win a bid.
I may drop a bid or two on the REV sets tonight. I'm not particularly afraid of getting scammed as PayPal offers pretty good protection.

I bought pretty much all the figures I wanted from AW from him, with the exception of Iron Man REV. I've exchanged 4 or 5 emails with him, and he seems legit to me. I asked how he came by so man Captain America and Iron Man REV sets, and he said he opened a whole bunch of cases to get them. Which explains the free figures that he offered with several of the auctions. He must have a ton of incomplete REV sets laying around now.
When I get my figures, I'll post here as well.

Checking the guy's feedback he seems to be on the up and up. Several recent positives for various Heroclix related sales. Didn't notice any Armor Wars stuff yet but things like a few LEs, and REVs from sets like Hypertime, Xplosion, Fantastic Forces, Ultimates, and Clobberin' Time. Turnaround seems to be around a week to a week in a half between the end of the auction and when the feedback is posted.
Lots of old classic toys too. Barbies, He-Man, etc. Doesn't seem to be much rhyme and reason in the stuff sold either. Toys, Heroclix, pins, etc. I wonder if this is just some big warehouse selling stuff.
I picked up a few AW REVs and some other things from this guy as well, and I'm still waiting, too.

Also bought from him, despite my concerns.
I received a bunch of clix today from another eBayer who had his auctions ending the next day, or just about.
I suppose these will take a bit longer to arrive due to the amount of auctions he had going at the time but I won't wait more than 30 days after the auction's end before doing something about it.
E-mail response received, he ships in waves from how it sounds. New shipping wave should be soon.
Offered me refund if it wasn't going to be soon enough, but I'm just anxious for the figs. :D

WOW. talk about rare figures. he has the ONLY R&V Icons Harley Quinns in existance as far as i can tell. The rest of us poor mopes only have the E Harley that was a starter exclisive.

If you have not received you items, you can file a claim after 10 days. If a bunch of us file a claim with ebay and paypal, it will send a huge red flag. Hopefully it will help us get our figs or money back, and shut this person down.

Anyone remember that?
The guys sold like 100-200 PS2s on Ebay the X-mas year they came out and were getting 500-600 a pop for them. They didnt even have 1 to ship. They made huge bucks on that scam. Dont recall what happened in the end now been a long time.

When armor wars first came out, i purchased a House of M Magneto from him + free booster, I got my package in the mail anyways...i opened it and inside was a Icons U Ra Al's Ghoul and a unopened Indy Booster...anyways i e-mailed him about the mix up. I sent him back the Ra's Al Ghoul in hopes that he would send me my Magneto...needless to say in a few days i got my Magneto but i was out the shipping of Ra's back to him...he said he would compensate me for the shipping but that didn't happen, i was just glad i got my Magneto...

I bought several AW figures from the same Jan 9th auctions. I've been in contact with him several times since, and he's said that a bunch of people messed up their invoices, so he had to resend them, which delayed getting the stuff out until last Friday.
He said that he sent the last packages from the AW stuff this week. We should be getting them by Friday.
Or, our wrath will descend from the heavens, and will be terrible to behold.
One or the other. I guess we'll see.
I'm getting very annoyed. To date I have nothing from this guy. I've sent three very polite emails asking for a status report and heard exactly nothing. It's been almost 20 days and I don't have any clix either. Needless to say, Ol_Dut is not happy.
Funny thing is, this seller's getting lots of positive feedback for selling clix this month, but the folks doing so were happy buyers of older stuff - Xplosion, etc. No one leaving positive feedback did so regarding Armor Wars pieces. So the good news is, if there is any, that no one is receiving any AW stuff from this guy. Yet. At least no one is being singled out, we're all taking it in the shorts together- so to speak. Maybe the big ol' box will come today? I'm not holding my breath.

The "messed up invoices" junk sounds way too much like the Neotoys debacle that I was an unfortunate participant in, so this doesn't make me feel to good. At least here I'd be out much less money if things do go completely pear-shaped.

KC Supes isn't the rarest thing in the world. If you open enough Unleashed cases, you'll have that many. Seems that's what he did with Armor Wars.

Got my Iron man REV from him today, everything in great shape plus the 5 free clix as promised.

After 17 days I got Iron Monger and Xplosion REV Storm. Rookie Storm was glued to the flight stand (listing stated,” These figures have never been played”). He wrote that he would send a replacement and a money order for the amount I paid for insurance, but he didn't purchase. I still can't say whether he's shady or just sloppy.

Well, the promised delivery date of this Tuesday has come and gone - nothing in the mail today, either. Over three weeks of waiting :disappoin.
This seller's email responses have, at best, been spotty and not at all helpful. Unless a miracle occurs in the next 24 hours, I shall be doing my best to cram all my negative feedback into 80 characters or less and go through the crummy PayPal dispute reoslution process. Yuck. :(

I got Sentry , Bane REV , and Hawk REV awhile back . It took awhile but I got it. I think he waits until the whole block ( like Armor Wars ) pays...and then ships them all on one day after everyone pays... so it takes awhile , but I've gotten it.
I bought a Magog I expect to get soon and I just won more figs.
Took a month, but I got my REV Iron Man set
This guy is a great seller. I mentioned casually that I didn't get any bonus figs while giving positive feedback (but no big deal). He sends me an email saying he wants to send me the bonus figs anyway. It took him forever (notice a theme) but I got double the amount of bonus figs I normally would have gotten and they weren't bad bonus figs either (E HT Batman and E Mandarin among others).

Well now he is listing with his auctions that it will take forever to get your figures. So if this was written on the auction and you do eventually get your figures, then you should leave a positive.
However, if you weren't expecting it to take forever, a neutral could be justified. However, personally I would request a refund and leave a positive once I got the refund.

Well I just won a couple auctions from him and I hope he comes through. It seems he does it just takes him awhile and he also seems to give out refunds if asked. I will let you guys know when I get my auctions.
I too am waiting for some figs from him from a recent auction. Glad to see that many of you received your pieces. Dut, any word on your figs yet? I noticed that someone recently left a whole batch of nasty negative feedback for him. Seems like juding from these posts, he buys cases then puts up auctions for the pieces he thinks he's going to be getting, then giving people refunds when he can't come up with the figs. Not a great way to do business, but I've encountered worse on Ebay (my sole negative feedback is a vengeance feedback from sifulama...). If my uniques ever arrive from him I'll pop a note on here.

I have e-mailed him a few times and I keep getting "I'll look into it, I'll look into it" but I don't hear anything after that.
I will never bid on one of his items again.
I don't mind waiting but I hate feeling scammed.

Yeah I just waited three weeks and no clix so I just emailed him for a refund and he said I will get it in 24 hours. I wouldn't buy from this guy unless you want to wait a couple months.

Had a good order with him in the past but recently I got burned. Won a KC Unleashed Unique back in January...after botchings and unsents I asked for a refund 2-3 days ago , which I got. Won Fantastic Forces REVs and a Unique back in early February , and if I don't get them today I will ask for the refund on those as well.
I'm all about patience , but in both examples he could've sent it after waiting over 3 weeks and I'd still have them , but I have no package or DC # to show for it. And it would make me feel better if his # of auctions slowed down so he could obviously catch up with what he's selling but its obviously WAY more then he can handle.
At this point the + month worth of frustration waiting for figures has overcome the slightly cheaper prices that he has. From now on I'm staying away.

I too bought a Unique Hush from him. fellow board member csi, told me he takes forever to ship. I got him on instant messenger, and asked what his turnaround time was, and he stated a little over two weeks. I mentioned that I would rather have the refund, since I was hoping for a faster delivery, took a couple of days, but my money was refunded.
csi bought an Ult Ironman from him, but received an Ult Thor from him instead. seller said he could return it, and get the ironman, or just keep the Thor. csi told him he would return the Thor, and to ship the ironman, but my pal said Thor isnt leaving his house, until Ironman shows up

I ordered multiple figures about 50 bucks worth cause of a magog in ### package in early february 2/7/2005 more specificly. This guy never sent me my package ignored most of my messages and said 2 weeks ago finnaly that I would get ### figures or a refund but 2 weeks later still no word or package and repeated emails have been ignored. This guy never sent me my package ignored most of my messages and said 2 weeks ago finnaly that I would get ### figures or a refund but 2 weeks later still no word or package and repeated emails have been ignored. I also see that he is no longer an ebay user so I can take no action against him I am screwed do not order from him ever
What about Paypal? They can give us our money back, right?

### problem with paypall is you have to file for a refund within 30 days of teh auction also if ### guy cancels his paypal account during ### investigation then they cant give a refund, I won a dark phoenix once for 100 bucks and I was ripped off, I did a paypall refund but ### guy canceled his account and I only received 13 bucks refund for this transaction out of ### hundred I spent

Within 30 days of ### auction ending or within 30 days of paying? If it's within 30 days of paying then I got a few days... if not, I'm screwed.

I too bought a Unique Hush from him. fellow board member csi, told me he takes forever to ship. I got him on instant messenger, and asked what his turnaround time was, and he stated a little over two weeks. I mentioned that I would rather have ### refund, since I was hoping for a faster delivery, took a couple of days, but my money was refunded.
csi bought an Ult Ironman from him, but received an Ult Thor from him instead. seller said he could return it, and get ### ironman, or just keep ### Thor. csi told him he would return ### Thor, and to ship ### ironman, but my pal said Thor isnt leaving his house, until Ironman shows up

I am in ### same boat. I have about $20 of figs that I have been waiting a month on. I had another $30 of figs that are awaiting payment but I was holding off till I got ### first set.
Now I find that he is no longer an autherized seller on ebay. Check out his rating which has around 150 negatives before ebay shut him down. I submitted a request through paypal for a refund but haven't heard anything yet.
I am currently trying to find this guys address and /or instant messenger name. If anybody has any info on this guy please let me know.
From what I can tell this guy was simply putting up auctions on ebay even though he didn't have ### stuff in hand. He may have intended to meet all ### orders or he may have just decieded to cut his losses and run off with our money.

I bought KC supes, despero and an REV Hal Jordan from this guy and it took him a month to ship my figs twice and I still never received them. After a couple weeks from the initial month of 'shipping' I finally got a refund. I didn't leave him negative feedback, but I was pretty pissed that I didn't get my KC Supes cuz I only paid 40 for him. Oh well, glad to know that some are having good experiences with him though

I ordered figures on febuary the 7th 58 dollars total including a KC magog
I still have no refund or the figures lets do teh math
almost 4 months now
