I usually have my weekly reads, and once those are done, I have other stuff (usually older stuff) to read to keep me fixed until the following week.
Over the last 5 weeks or so, aside from my weekly reads, I have also read:
Essential X-Men vol 1 & 2-which has allowed me to reacquaint myself with the issues I loved as a child.
Wolverine: Enemy of the State- Regular issues
Wolverine: Agent of SHIELD- Follow up to Enemy of the State-both were awesome reads.
Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight/New Dawn-The story of how Hal Jordan became Parallax and Kyke Rayner became Green Lantern, also a great read. I was able to pick up the issues for cheap, so I have the story from GL #48-55.
I am on the verge of finishing the Inferno TPB, before I start reading the newly released DCU Stories of Alan Moore (with Batman: the Killing Joke, and Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow)
After that I have the following reads, in the pipeline:
Essential X-Men vol 3 & 4, and
Wolverine (His original mini series by Claremont).
Anyone else doing something similar?

Yes, last week I picked up the Titan Books collection of the Spider: King of Crime, which is a english character from the 60's (I knew the character from the late 60's, he also is in Albion at the moment - whenever the next issue comes out). I have also recently picked up vol 2 of Charley's War which is a World War one set of stories, very interesting and well researched.
Chronicles of Conan are interesting to hold up against the new DH stories.
Cerebus is a better read as a phone book than waiting 30 days for the next part.
I am getting Neal Adams Batman Illustrated Vol 3 and Plastic Man DC Archive Vol 7 soon.
I would have bought the American Flagg Hardcover if it was released as well. (I am picking up the old TPs when I see them. (Never knew the character, but became interested because of what writers and artists have said about the stories.)
Beside the weekly reads, I'm trying to catch up on or reread some big piles!
Essential X-Men TPB volume 2
Preacher #13 & up
Hitman #1 - 15
Cerebus #1 - 126
Sandman TPB volumes 3 & up
Swamp Thing #110 & up
Savage Dragon #48 - #75
Conan TPB volumes 5 - 7
Jimmy Olsen: Adventures TPB volumes 1 & 2
Camelot 3000 #1-12
Queen and Country: Declassified volume 2 (if issue #3 ever comes out)
Free Comic Book Day Comics (from 2004 and 2005)
And once Planetary finishes, I'm gonna have to reread that again, too!

...basically been skimming through all my Essential collections.
More importantly, I've been reading 20th Century Boy...the most epic manga ever.

I'm almost always working on an Essential, at the moment half way through Spider Man Essential Vol.7, and/or reading what I consider a classic(Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Kingdom Come) for the thousandth time.

Finished Inferno, and am now reading DCU Stories of Alan Moore. The first two stories were pretty impressive. In fact the Godfall story arc in Superman titles last year, resemble the story "For the Man who has everything." Not exactly the same obviously, but definitley some similarities.

Im constantly reading trades and older comics. I buy about 2 trades a month.
so far i have read the "I am Legend" adaptation. is a wicked story but steve niles cant adapt for ####. I'm reading "the origin of marvel comics" its this book from the 70s where stan lee has alot of the first issues of marvels stuf like the fantastic four and spiderman and he talks about where he got the ideas for them and stuff. Kind of like proto directors commentarys. I'm also re-reading "twentieth century eightball" the compliation. Daniel clowes is a ####ing god.
I'm going over singles of "the original ghost rider rides again" and my ##### of an ex is finally giving a bunch of my comics back to a mutual friend, whence I get those back I plan on reading "welcome back frank" again.
