I know a lot of you guys/girls dig the Marvel Legends figures and so do I. I'll admit I used to get everyone that got released but financially between figures, clix, comics, and raising a family I had to start making sacrifices. So instead of getting all of them I just got the ones I really wanted, which meant about half or less of each expansion.
Well after accumulating some Christmas money I began to start collecting Marvel Legends a little more than usual. I resisted the urge to build all of Galactus (even though I have a few parts if anyone needs them), only got a Sentinel leg (again, anybody need one?) and picked up X-23 and wound up with Apoc's head and upper torso. Marvel Legends aren't plentiful in my neck of the woods here in small town Georgia, but the legendary rider series looked cool and so I had picked up Wonder Man shortly after Christmas (he was the only one I could find for a while). Tonight I lucked out and found two different waves of them at the same time that were only missing a few figures from each. So I bought the only Taskmaster I have ever found (man is he awesome! jsut wish i could taek the cape all the way off without tearing it up) and one of the two Iron Fists I found (green, not the variant red one) and he is pretty cool too. But what really blew me away tonight was the Sasquatch figure I bought.
I noticed the package was heavy and thought well yeah, i got an apocalypse arm and he's huge. So I opened him up and was blown away. Sasquatch is scaled perfectly with a lot of the Legends figures and his posability is a little more natural than some of the legends, plus he looks great. I enjoy all my figures but there's just something special about him. He's so freakin' enormous! Weird as it may sound it made me really enjoy collecting figures again. (I say collecting, but in actuality most of my collection is open so that i can display them and yes, play with them from time to time). Pretty cool considering he's not a major league character, eh?

See...we don't get the Marvel Legends figures until they've been out for like 4 months. There's a shop here in town that literally only buys other stores stock and sells it for more. He sends a man to Toys R Us,another employee to one walmart,he'll go to walmart or another store,so on and so on,you understand. He does this when the stores get their shipments in. It pisses everyone here off, cause he ALWAYS has an aemployee at the stores holding them for him,so we have to wait 4 months or so before they get restocked with them,or go to his store and buy them for 17 a piece, not even lying.
But,I was patient, and got Galactus completed and my family managed to buy all the Sentinel figures for Christmas so I could build the sentinel.
I figure around June or so I'll build Apocalypse. I've only seen 2 Legendary Riders figures, and they were at his store, for 30 bucks a pop.
But,out of all the ones I have,I'd have to say my favorite ML figure is Thor or Collosus ,with Toad close behind.

Ah, I just finished my Sentinel today.
Looking forward to the recently announced series witha Giant Mojo, each fig coming witha piece and.... an X-baby.
My favorite Legends of all would be either Magneto or Thor.
But the Venom from teh Spider-Man Classics line still stands as my favorite Marvel fig, ever.

The front of Taskmaster's cap has two pegs that insert into his chest. They are removable without damaging the cape. I know this because I've done it. The Taskmaster fig made me break my Nightcrawler figure only rule (he's just that cool looking).

I started collecting every figure, but when they started doing a Wolverine in almost every set, I started just picking and choosing. I really do need to get all to build a Sentinel or Galactus. Though at the local Toys R Us, I did manage to get the variant Cyclops and variant Angel :) Also picked up the Scarlet Witch for a friend, I found her to be rather goofy looking myself.

Bar none Captain America from the first set has the best look in the legends series. The one that comes in a very close second is Thor from the third set.
They're oldies but goodies, but the Series 1 Captain America and Iron Man rank high on my list. Deadpool is another of my favorites, although the Doop accessory was lame.
One of the lamest Legends, in my opinion, was Silver Surfer. Maybe it was the quality of the figure I got, but it was lot of unfulfilled potential. Howard the Duck was neat, though.
My favs are Cap and Hawkeye (though I only have a few figures total). I love archer action figures, and when I found out he came with individual arrows and a bow, I was sold. Then I realized he could be set up to hold the arrow in the bow. All he needs is firing action (like some of the LotR figures) and he'd be perfect. But he's still really cool.

I have a new rule with the legends figs--as soon as you see the one you want, BUY IT. I went back the next day to get the Series I Iron Man I had seen and it was gone. I returned to Wal_Mart to get one of the DOZEN Hawkeye figs I had seen just a couple days previous and the shelves were bare.
I get every Iron Man I can lay my fingers on. The only one I'm missing is that classig red-and-gold. I'm thinking about repainting the hideous brown-and-orange current armor. Who the heck came up with that color scheme??
My favorite, however, is the most recent addition: Hulkbuster Iron Man. Right now, I have him crouched in a Strong Mad-style death metal pose, as if he's holding two mystical orbs in his hands, singing: "De-CAY! De-SPAIR! De-LOUSE!"
Instead of posting (OT) in the title, why not post the thread in the proper forum?
Anyway, I've been looking for the variant Angel since the Sentinel series was released. Wal-mart received a new shipment in (around 100 figures) and of the 10 or so Angels they had, not a SINGLE variant. It's annoying. I did finally find War Machine, bringing my total up to 3 including Nightcrawler and Dr. Strange (who I was disappointed with).
I'm more into the Marvel figure factories now. I need to find Punisher, Ghost Rider and Nightcrawler at the moment, as well as the chase figures of Storm and Captain America.

I have almost every Marvel Legend made aside from some really rares and varients. I order them by the set from an online toy store. Still haven't received my Apocalypse line. :disappoin I feel what you're saying about Sasquatch though I haqve yet to see him. The big figs are just so cool--the weight, the scale, etc. I too have removed Taskmaster's cape, so I corroborate that story. You can do it. I supplement my Legends collection with Spiderman figs and got most of the Incredible Hulk line--even Abomination (recently found him at a Rite-Aid pharmacy if you can believe it) Score! Mr. Fixit and Smart Hulk rock too. Juggernaut, to me, was one of the best Legends ever. His sheer size and true-to-comics look is awesome. Hawkeye is another kick butt ML, as is Deadpool, Man Thing, and the new version of Ghost Rider--sorry, I think he rules. One of my most recent and coolest ever purchases was the Marvel Select Thanos. His scale is perfect for ML, he's much more poseable than most Marvel Select figs and above all, HE'S FRIGGIN' THANOS! I love him. Glad Clix players are into ML too. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise. On the downside, the new Legendary Riders set has some real losers. Ultron is awful, Logan is just kind of ..eh... Thing is basically a waste though not terrible. I like vengeance, but wouldn't argue that he's actgually a good figure, I just kind of dig him. Wonderman is great, as is Taskmaster and even Hulk Buster. Ok, that's all I have to say.

I'm pretty sure you're kidding about that as the Scarlet Witch from some recent series is extremely rare as it wasn't supposed to be released because of factory mistakes or something.

I picked up the Witch, she's down right ugly.
Scarlet Witch was pulled shortly after production because Toy Biz was unhappy with the body design and wanted to redo her. Some made it to the stores, but not many.
As for the Marvel Figure Factory codes, SEND THOSE MY WAY!!!
I have been looking everywhere for a Storm and I keep getting Peter Parkers. I'm sick of it!!! I want to avoid him.

What's the Nightcrawler code? LOL
What's the Nightcrawler code? LOLNightcrawler is part of the regular 8. Does he have a variant? The only variant I am aware of is Ghost Rider and his human head. I assumed there's one of Cyclops in an alternate outfit and one of Blade with a fang face or something.
What would Nightcrawler's variant be?
Also, has anyone found many figure factories? Toys R Us is the only place near me that carries them it seems, and I've bought up all of the series one Mysteries I could find, as well as a couple of other figs, but they have yet to get any new stock in including series 2. I need my Punisher, Nightcrawler and Ghost Rider!!!

nightcrawler with sword. it's been on ebay
CURSES!!! MUST GET BOTH!!!
My luck is horrible, though. I spend weeks looking for the variant Angel from Marvel Legends with no luck of finding him. Tonight, two different places have the variant X-23, and one place has the variant Bishop. CURSE YOU!!!
Now I will have even more trouble finding the Nightcrawler as it seems places refuse to carry Figure Factories.
By the way, I finally got that Dinah Lance! ;)

While she's not the last I'll need, she'll be about the last I get... Curse me still needing LEs from almost every set!!! Best of luck to you. She's one of the ones I want most because of who she is.

Well the Scarlet Witch was right on the end, staring right at me. There was another guy there looking at Taskmaster, so I dashed for it like crazy. The Angel and Cyclops variants were on the edge on other pegs, grabbed them quickly as well! :)

Scarlet Witch was originally supposed to be pulled, but it looks like this was changed, and she is now showing up all over the country. I have seen Scarlet Witch figures in at least 5 different stores(2 in Maine, 3 in New Hampshire) since about a week before Christmas.
As for Storm, they just rereleased the old Marvel Legend one in the new X-Men line, only this time her outfit is white instead of black. The new X-Men line is also supposed to include Cyclops(with ruby-quartz armor :cheeky: ), Wolverine, Gambit, Archangel with a new headsculpt, and new figures of Magneto and Beast.
I also was lucky enough to find all of series 12 about 2 weeks ago. All 6 figures in this wave are awesome, its definetly one of the best waves Toybiz has produced so far.
Also, for all of the people here who are planning on building Apocalypse, many of the Maestro figures are missing the arm tube that connects Apocalypse arm to his back. There should be a phone number on Toybiz's official site somewhere that you can call so that you can get it.

I just wish I could find the new marvel legends now. My area usely doesn't get them until they have been out for like 3 months and I really want Wolverine, Bishop, and Sasquatch. I hope I find them soon.
I found x-23 at toys r us and got maestro, ironfist and bishop tonight.... non of the walmarts around here have any of the last two series and its very...annoying. I'll probably get the hulkbuster ironman at my venue, just to compleate my ironmans.

I was referring to the Figure Factory Storm. She's one of the 12 mystery figures in series one.

Pick up a Marvel Figure Factory Mystery figure.
Turn the package over in the bottum left corner is a stamp.
The stamp is a code that tells you who the figure is.
nope, she's two of the twelve.I know. I want her long haired version, though the mowhawk Storm would be cool, too.
Series one has:
Storm
Storm (with mowhawk)
Daredevil
Daredevil (classic yellow)
Captain America
Human Torch
Human Torch (with human head)
Doctor Octopus (with Lab Coat)
Spiderman (Unmasked)
Wolverine (Unmasked)
Hulk (Gray)
Venom (with human head)
I have Spiderman and both Daredevils.
