As for now, XMen legends I and II, probably do the XMen about as good as I could possibly want! Now having said that, apparently they are coming out with a new XMen game (according to Super Hero Hype.com) that relates to the upcoming movie. Based on the pictures, imagine Wolverines revenge, only using more of the XMen (no, probably NOT like XMen legends does playing them all at one time, but using one character at a time, maybe!) The pictures of Ice Man on his ice slide is pretty awesome! I will try to eventually get this game although I still haven't been able to get the Hulk Destruction game and have not completed a clix set since before Ultimates. That money thing always gets in the way.

Just beat Legends I yesterday. Fun Game. My biggest complaint is the Ultimate costumes. After a while I got past it a bit, but If they did the REAL X-men, then the game would have been better.

Xmen legends does allow you to change uniforms. If I understand you correctly, especially after beating the game. I almost refuse to play it without using the original XMen "Kirby" yellow and blues! Thats half the fun is the options of changing uniforms.

Added note about this upcoming XMen game. Its a "bridge the gap" storyline connecting X2 to X3. Although they may meet up with other characters, I hear you can only play with Wolverine, Iceman, and Nightcrawler. They also said it explains why Nightcrawler will not be in X3.

Does anyone Know HOW to do this? I beat the game. Saved it, and then hit new game. It started up just like before with Ultimate Wolverine, and I didn't see anything with Costume changes.

That alone might be worth replaying it! I LOVED the flashback missions you could do :)

No problem! You could of done it way before even beating the game! Anytime you go into a Blue X to "Change the team" and you see the screen where all 4 are standing around in a circle and you can change from one character to another, there will be a choices bar across the bottom. And when your characters have attained new uniforms, it will put up a "Skins" box on the bottom. So you choose the character you want to change and push (I believe its the R2 button, its been a while since I have played. Its defined on the "Skins" screen box). As you do, for instance, Wolverine will change from Ultimates to his traditional, and I'm not sure whether its one or two but one has his weapon X, and I think 2 has his Age of Apocolypse). Just stop on the one you want and you are good to go. Some characters may have as many as 4 different ones where there are those that have NO other choices.

X-Men Legends II does the costumes much better. Instead of having to beat the game, you get new costumes with each area you clear. You start with a few selection, but by the end of the game you have tons of stuff, including Age of Apocolypse outfits. I'm an Iron Man addict (he's all I play in multiplayer), and he gets the classic red-and-gold, the current suit, and the War Machine suit. 'Tis awesome.

I like the character, too, but I'm not sure how to build him. His boost (forget the name, but the one which makes him move like Speedy Gonzales on coke) seems crazy awesome, which makes me think you should build him for melee, with high body and strike attributes, but all of his special attacks are energy-intensive, making me think I should lean toward making him more of a tank-mage, with lots of points into focus and mutant mastery. Which approach do you take?

I still need to get X-Men Legends II some time.

X-Men Legends was ### first game I got for my GC and I went through it in about a month. That game was a real blast.

If you liked XMen legends, then you will definitely find XMen legends II even more enjoyable, probably much, much more.
Bonus teams I like:
Femme Fetal': Storm, Rogue, Jean Grey, and Scarlet Witch. One that can bring them back from the dead, and two healers, combined with the Will of the Goddess. The best comination with the levels as they are in my game.

The Brotherhood: Magneto, Scarlet Witch, Toad, Juggernaut (Juggernaut?) Thats what the game says. Not a bad team though.

Old School: Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman, Magneto all in classic uniforms. My Cyclops isn't leveled up too high, but its still fun playing in these uniforms.

Double date: Jean Grey, Cyclops, Rogue, Gambit. My Gambit is leveled up and his detonation pulls it weight with heavy hitters Rogue (My highest leveled character) and the up and coming Jean Grey.

Age of Apocolypse: As far as I can tell, any combination of four characters in their Age of Apocolypse uniforms. Powerful yes, although I am not big on these uniforms.

Thats all I can remember for now. But they are all fun.

They are saying now that Cyclops, Storm, and Colossus join in on this game. I wonder if they mean like the Sega genesis game that had the option of calling Rogue, Iceman, Angel, and Jean Grey to help you? I can't remember which game system, I beleive it was the PSP they let you play as Colossus.

Is Gambit better this time around? The one time I used him he got creamed and I never used him again.

I apparently used Beast a lot more than other people did though.

They aren't playable and show up in that type of capacity, at least according to the preview I read in a magazine a few days ago. I think there might be a few more aside from those three.

About Gambit in Legends II; He took me a long while to find his benifit, but once he got his "Detonation" power which to me looks like he is stickin' firecrackers down the bad boys pants, has proven to use him as the knock out punch of some good teams. I've got him on about level 46 by now, and about three of those detonations brings a Sentinel Down. It usually puts a good whack on the intermediate bosses that you run into along the way to the main bosses. I'm having the same trouble with Bishop, but the way that Bishop has helped is where he adds melee damage to the whole team. This helps a lot when using brawlers like Wolverine, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Rogue. But I always play with at least one healer, especially with Bishop for now. Gambit is working his levels up to the top of my leaders mostly because of his "detonation" powers. I am working toward earning Xavier, and am now about up to Deadpool in New York.

Best X-Men Game Ever: X-Men Mutant Apocalypse (SNES)

Mutant Apocolypse is cool, and those Sega and SNes games were great. If that is the one with Exodus, I had to use cheats to get there. I wish they would re-release those games for the PC.
