Who should be the official Junk Shot Recipient of the 2006 convention season?
Vote once, vote often.
Heck, you can even let the creators of Invincibles know about it so people who have no idea who these fine candidates are can decide as well.
Like I care, I'm not on the list!! :laugh:
Note: Management takes no responsibility for what a recipient may do in response to getting said junk kicked
Nothing personal.
It seems to me that some guys, every once in a while, just need a shot in the junk. ;)

In case anyone did not notice, the poll will remain open until the early morning of 3/17/06 so we can give everyone an opportunity to vote right up until the begining of Wizard World LA.
A heroclix-related poll would have been nice. No interest in debating which "celebrities" on this site (read: i post just to post) should receive a much deserved junk shot. Cue spastic post responses from aformentioned.....

The sand is clean and there's fresh water. Plenty of space for the mylar and bubble wrap.
And a nice storage environment for my complete mint collection of Lavern & Shirley collectible trading cards (including the ultra-rare swatch card of a shirt worn by the actor who played Carmine "The Big Ragoo" Ragusa). :cool:
I will be holding my vote until I weigh all the options.
1) I already gave DCFan#1 his well-deserved Junk Shot at WWT last year.
2) The rest of the Omaha Crew (thjimmy and themark37) will be getting Junk Shots from me just so I can say I kicked all of them.
3) I'll be staying in the same hotel rooms throughout the 2006 Con Season with Groovy and Gacy so any vote for either from me might mean I don't get a reach around during the nightly orgies... :laugh:
4) azs is only doing one WW Convention (I think) this year and I can kick him anytime since I have his home address and play from time to time at his Venue... :grin:
5) DarkCrisis is only doing Gen Con this year, but I'll be Junk Shotting him no matter the voting outcome... ;)
6) hair10 is too nice a guy. :ermm: Which, in my book, means he is deserving of one... :laugh:
7) coyotejack? Hmmmm... Strong possibility, buuuut...
8) His wife might be the better vote since she claims that it doesn't hurt for a woman to get a Junk Shot. I might want to see that proved very wrong... :speechles

I saw the very first junk shot in 2005. Groovyboy did a sweet diversionary move and nailed DS-FSD right in the junk! And DOWN GOES DS!
If the Groovy-One is the originator and innovator, then he will get my vote for the 2006 Junk Shot.
I for one will not participate in the Junk Shot, but i will laugh my Arse off after it happens!

Here is idea I will leave with you to ponder.
The person who wins this vote is worth 10 points for a Junk Shot
The person who gets the second most votes is worth 8 points
and on to the end of the list. Decreasing points per order of finish.
Why not make 2006 the year of the JUNK SHOT!
lets have a competition that lasts all con season. We can start a thread and keep track of alledged shots which can be confirmed by the recipient. whoever accumulates the most points at the end of the con season wins a Special award!
As should the person who gets the most shots in the junk.
For those members who attend only one con, like Azs, a multiplier should be used as his Junk Shot chances are limited.
If my idea is implemented in ANY way, I shall forever be exempt from all future potential junk shots*********disclaimer************

There are many worthy recipients on this list, so this is not an easy choice. Therefore, I will vote for the person least deserving of a junk shot - hair10. Hair, I am rooting that your Combat Reflexes will kick in (no pun intended) and that you'll get that +2 to defend your junk. Then you can roundhouse kick'em right back.
Anyone else besides me thinking that wearing an athletic cup during WW will be a good move?

I only guessed because of your "post just to post" comment, which out of all of them would only appear to be me, but I DO contribute to threads, etc. and have been vocal on here about people who post just to post....otherwise known as spamming.
I'm pretty sure ro_gan will take the prize in the end though.

Gacy, I never intended my initial post to "single" you out. I really hardly looked at the names and couldn't tell you who has 500 posts or 5000+. I actually voted "other", but when you came on to "defend" yourself, I figured what the heck and said you. My snide comment about the eventual retaliatory posts unfortunately came true.
I have been a member of this site for quite a while (may '02) and I visit every day. I have seen some in this community attack anyone with an opinion, but I have also seen friendships begin, help given to new players and posters, and there is no better place to go with a rules question. I have probably read most of your posts and always found you at the least, passionate about this game and its players.
It was probably dumb of me to let my feelings known about the poll being used for a "non-heroclix" related subject (imho), but heck, I only have 50+ posts in all these years! Lol.
Hey, one more thing.........are you saying 35 is "old"? Man, you may change your tune when your 35 (i have no idea how old you are). I've been a comic geek/gamer my whole life and don't see any reason why I should stop now. Thanks and good luck at your Cons tourneys. I trying to decide if I'm going to Chicago WW this year. Went back in 2001 (?) and had a blast.

No problem, dude. I'm actually 27 myself and sometimes get into the battle with people that just seem like they really need to lighten up or something....and a lot of times this is even with people younger than myself. Life's short, have fun.

Man, we made this a BFC last year. Only it was called "Groin Shot", and it was specifically about Mike Seidler and his spinning dice. "Any time your opponent spins their dice/die, you may repeatedly punch them in the groin until the dice/die stops spinning." The art is a picture of me punching him in the junk.
And since he can make the dice spin for several minutes, he'd be a hurtin' after a game.
It's a Heromyx thang- A thang connected to bruised, swollen...

A couple of things to remember...
First... the tourney hall is mine during the WW cons. If I get junk-shoted by someone, they better not plan on playing any HC games during the con. :devious:
Second... Since I am unable to attend WWLA, DS-00-0, FSD is taking my place and filling in for me. So if I do win, all my junk shots should be directed towards him as he is my stand in for that con (how's that for incentive to vote for me! :laugh: ).
My vote went to "other". Pencil me in for Brazil. ;)

Actually, the rules clearly state that I am now exempt from any further junk shots having been the 2005 winner.
The by-laws address this exact situation in section 5, subparagraph a11:
"If for some reason the winner is unable to attend a convention, the runner up will take over duties of being kicked in the junk for the duration of said convention."
So, :p .

The stipulation in order to be put on the Poll is that the potential winner has to be going to at least 3 or more Cons. Otherwise, what's the fun in trying to Junk Shot a guy who never leaves his home to Road Trip it to the Cons.

azs is semi-correct. Normal weeks events do not count. However, any large event (like a Regional Qualifier or a large charity event) is fair game. ;)

Well, we never actually made any rules about when you COULD and COULDN'T rack a guy's scrots, except that it started with WWLA and ended with WWTexas. I mean, let's remember that FSD got one of his shots at a pre-release and another out drinking the night before Clix for the Cure.
I guess it'd be okay to lay down groundrules that you're fair game at pre-releases and charity events. As for conventions, you're a target if you're in the convention city, from the moment the event starts until the moment it ends. I don't care if you're at a restaurant or a strip club, once the clock starts ticking at WWLA, WWE, Origins, WWChicago, GenCon, WWBoston, DragonCon, and WWTexas, there are no timeouts.
Also, one shot per contestant. Believe me, I wanted another crack at FSD, but let's be gentlemen. And for God's sake, STOP VOTING FOR AZS!!!!! He's not going anywhere this summer!!!! At least hair10 is good for 3 or so cons. You can't go wrong with GACY or RO_GAN!!! Heck, even vote me and DCFan#1 instead of wasting it on azs...

Do I want to spend the weekend playing clix or looking over my shoulder and constantly cupping the boys, ultimately looking like a perv... (well, there's the deciding factor!)

Given that WWE is the only con I am attending this summer, I should have backed azs from the get-go.
Should there be a lottery of some sort at WWE? Like, if you have a losing ticket for the Spectre, can you junk shot azs as a consolation prize? :p
For some reason, i see WW East being a mix of clix and chasing ro_gan down for junk shots. Ro_gan, wear a cup!!! I fear that some of us are out for your boys, and not in the good way!
