Hatter M, the looking glass Wars.
I've been hearing a lot about this book, It's basis is something along the lines of A royal Bodyguard comes through the looking glass to find the lost princess ALyss. Apparently Hatters are a rank of sorts, and they are blademasters who kick serious buttock.

Now I don't do much with independant comics, but this concept just sounded so Cool. Then I picked it up and the cover also looked sweet. The first page goes into a great deal of background, and tells the story of the worlds and I'm getting real excited about this. Then I turn the page....
This is the WORST artwork I have ever seen. I nearly started to cry.
This artwork practically demands that I grab my sketchbook and actually RE-DRAW the whole book!
THe worst part is that the story is just as engaging as I thought it would be. It is Painful to look at but I can't put it down :confused:
