Nomination thread for the Ultimate villan tournament

This is going to be a tournament to crown the ultimate bad guy out there. To make it fair there will be three distinct breackets.(after all who wants to see Magneto rip the fillings out of the Jokers mouth)
The Thugs(street level baddies ie foes of Batman, Dardevil, Captain america etc)

The Powered ones(I know the ttiel is lame feel free to suggest soemthing better)(These are the guys with higher power levels and those with suits and or gadgets)

And finnaly the World Beaters(these are the upper crust guys who set their sites on ruling the world)

In addtion inside of each tourney the fights will not be just a simple fight as then a Bullseye would whup a Penguin every time or a Graviton will smack Zemo form here to eternity. It will be a battle, and 2 random scenarios.

Those in first part are all 'powered' individuals, and certainly not 'thug' level. No one 'thug' level could beat Ghost for instance.

Those in the second list are not 'powered' individuals and belong at the 'thug' level

Ra and Lex are not Thug and would actually belong in the world beater category. This is not just solely a power contest.
The Thug category is just that they are the hired help. And Dr Light is a real iffy for me not sure where he excpet not a Thug. He is either a high level power or a low level Level beater. After all he went toe to toe with the whole Titans and destoryed half of Star City

Just to clarify if you have any significant powers(something beyond great accuacry) or have a suit or a variety of powered gimmicks then yoiu are in the seocnd category. These guys whould be almost entirely HTH with maybe a little gadgetry thrown in

Sin would work then, she's the Red Skull's Daughter, as would Winter Soldier (he has a cyborg arm, but really just a duded up super soldier). Also, Swordsman could work (he's been a villian at times, and really only has a gimic sword).

Also, Hammerhead (mobster with the adamantium skull) from Spiderman, Tarantula (I think he was mostly human, had the poisoned boot spikes), Black Cat, Catwoman...

I'd put Lizard into the powered catagory, he's super strong, enhanced reflexes/speed (faster then human anyways), durable, amphibious, razor claws, and a healing factor. He can give Spidey a real run for his money.

She said her only powers were slight toughness/regen from daddy, plus she was on a weapons level with Talia Al Ghul.

prometheus is one like Dr light who is border World Beater as he took down the whole Jla with planning but has been humbled so Im on the fence.
Silver Samurai is a powered one as he has mutant powers.
Anti heroes like Venom, Punisher and Black Cat are definetly out as are any reformed villans like Hawkeye and Black Widow (although Ult BW might make it if i allow Ultimates.)
Also Drak Phoeniex and her ilk are out she is not a world beater but a world eater practically.

Prometheus would quite cleanly beat everyone in this weight bracket. He neutered such heroes as batman,green lantern and the flash.
Silver Samurai is a powered one as he has mutant powers. But you let mystique and toad into this bracket. Also is bane with or without venom?

Note that -without- planning and extreme prep, he's only about as good as some of the higher 'thug level' people. So I wouldn't quite put him in the 'world beater' catagory.

But the thing is his computer link up gives him instant planning to a degree. It feeds him counters in real time which he has been shown to be able to react to immediatley. His suit also grants him quite a number of "powers"

So, Im taking it that this TOC isnt going to be just POOF, and that planning, other equipment, prep time, etc will all be included? If not, characters like Ras, Lex, Zemo, Red Skull, Prometheus, etc need to be on the LW/MW level (and Batman with prep could very well be on the World Beats SHW category, no exaggeration).

Oh, and any way we could get an updated listing of the Character List so far?

Ok a few things Mystique is in the lower level as her only power is shape shifting a non offensive power
Toad I have decided to move up a level i forgot about his powers post secondary mutation, what with the spitting and all. I was thinking of him as a just a jumper.

DTM as far as the tournament there will be three compnents to it. One wil be a battle, the other part will be tasks to do. So although Ra's might get crushed by Juggernaut is a battle. He will pull off something involving inteeliengece better.
The updated list will be coming soon as i am combining the results form this and one or 2 other sites to complete it.

Batroc is on the list, and Mr. Terrible will get destroyed (he's terrible at everything he does, to the point of sticking friends with thrown weapons when aiming for his enemies).

Kraven is better than Mysterio and Toad and some other villains which arn't in the list yet, I say he gets moved up.

Also mystique (the movie one anyway) is amazing. She has an enhanced healing type thing so she can live forever almost.

Kraven, physically, is almost as powerful as Spiderman. He can leap 20+ feet, press a couple tons, has enhanced stamina, reflexes, senses (hearing, smell, etc).

However, with KGBeast and Bane on the list, I think he fits okay.

I just thought of one, Spy Master.

I don't think he qualifies as world beater, as he works for other people. Sort of the evil version of James Bond. I'd go with the original though, as the new one hasn't done anything yet.

Also, if it's single powered items and what not, Backlash could work. He's a normal joe with a specialized whip (his electro lash, so it's mostly only good in close, and even then skilled individuals have worked him). I think he'd be okay if Captain Cold is okay.

Scourge, from when he was just a punk with a disintegration gun (not the Monroe one).

Some of the Serpent Society might be okay, as some of their powers might be low key enough.

Jason Todd. Evil Nightwing, Red Hood, what have you. He's pretty darned skilled and a villain.

How about Drakon? The mildly-superhuman guy who thrashed the Green Arrows.

He probably could take most of the people in a fair fight easily so he might , but Conner and Ollie both demonstated overconfidence weaknesses, so maybe borderline.

I think Kraven's a bit much, personally. He's a Spider-man foe who uses brute strength (and he's a skilled hunter as well).

Captain Cold has been cut due to a range issue in that he can mop everyone from distance.
Tombstone is also out as he is invunelarble and seemingly a mini Juggerenaut
Jason Todd is a hero maybe an antihero but no worse than Punisher or other heroes who will kill. What he does he does to help not to hurt.

Yep thats why i called it heck i dont know half the charcters so it is going to be a ##### providing bios for most of these guys. Unfortunately I am going to have to delay this tourney for 2 weeks though as I am helping a friend move cross country in a few days and dont want to strat the thing and then abandon it for a week or 2
