Need help regarding a Trade

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if some one can help me with a trade that seems is going to end up badly for me. It's not on this site, but is on the Wizkids forum. Here is the story: I recently made a deal with a guy "about 3 weeks ago" To trade 2 convention exclusives for a LE Jane foster. So We made the deal and I sent the DC# to him. The next PM I got was one telling me he couldnt obtain it and I had to pick from a list of other Uniques and LE's. So, I decided " what the heck, this stuff happens" Ya know, So I pick 2 of them and he says they are at a shop and he will trade for them and let me know the status when he gets any. So I am patient. 2 days later he tells me his package shouldve arrived " the one I sent" cause the DC# said it was delivered. He told me it wasnt at this house thought and he would contact the post office. He said he would still send my figures. So I was still patient. Then I pm'd him a few days later for the status and Telling him the I would like to help how ever I could. Then He pm'd me back saying the he still hadnt contacted them. So I pm'd him back saying I had 1 extra exclusive pirate ship and I would get an extra Jonah and send at no charge. So he messages me back saying "he doesnt know how to finalize this trade and he would get back to me in a few days". That was a week ago today, and he still hasnt answered my pm from friday. So what should I do? I have never had this happen to me before. Please help if any one ahs any suggestions.

It sounds to me like he is trying to rip you off. Just ask him to send your stuff back and then cease any future dealings with him.

What K-ness said. The instant the guy said he couldn't obtain the fig he had promised to trade you, he started sounding suspicious.

Well, this guy has +22 feedback on the wizkids forum, and no negs, I only have like 2 maybe 3 +feedback there so I didnt post there and instead here cause this is where I do business. And He said he never got the figures I sent even though the DC# says it was delivered. I can give his name if you guys want. I just didnt know if I should cause I was hoping to still get something out of the deal. I think I went way out of my way for him already and he still hasnt answered.

He traded figs he didn't have in hand? Then he couldn't get them and asked you to trade for some other stuff?

Sounds like this dude was either trying to trade beyond his means or is ripping you off.

Its great to give someone the benefit of the doubt but you sent your figs in good faith expecting Jane Foster.

I'd suggest contacting the administrator on that site. Problem with DC# is it shows the package was delivered, not the he got it. Guy might be telling the truth and somehow it was taken and he never received the figures. Nothing else at least put a neutral rating on him explaining what happened if you can't get a resolution. It will at least let others know they need to have signature confirmation with this guy.

You completed your end of the deal in good faith, the guy let down his end and has done nothing but delay. Contact the Wizkids site mod and report the trader if he doesn't come good after your next PM.
