Marvel 2099 was voted the next collector set and has quite a few figures to pick from in terms of that Universe. Who would you most like to see made in Clix form.

The only 2009 title I ever read was Spider-Man 2099. And, that was only because Peter David wrote it.
Since, Spidey has already been made, I went with Doctor Doom 2099. Simply because I heard he was excellently written and because he's Doctor Doom. DOOM rules all!

It's hard to pick just one; thank goodness the collector's set will have at least 5. There's a vote thread right now where you can pick the 7 you want to see.
I went with Ravage- not the most original character out there, and we've probably seen his type of clix many times, but I really did love the big guy! I'd like to see him as the Beast-Man, but Ravage as the vigilante with his power blasts would be kinds cool too.

I also went with Doom. That possibly the best written series of all the 2099 books. This version of the character, of all the 2099 characters, is best suited for a new clikc, IMHO.
This Poll is going to be misleading.
Everyone will vote for Doom. He's the only class A character in the lots. The question should be "given that They'll HAVE To include Doom 2099 in the next Collector's set, what would be the number one chaarter you'd like to see in the set besides Doom?"
and my answer to that is Tiger Wilde.
Make him an AE to DOOM.
and strike those lame "Marvel Knights 2099" characters from the list.

What about Venom 2099? I think that could have the potential to be a very cool sculpt.
Doom 2099 has to be in it.
Spidey 2099 must not be in it - we already have him.
The rest of the set should all be generics - eg Corporate Goons / Robots / whatever.
BUT, if we can't have that, then Doom, any 6 other characters with a wide variety of powers, and NO Spidey.
As to which characters - I realy don't mind - I wanted Astro City or BPRD !
I would have thought the 2099 Clicks will be even less visualy recognisable than COV / COH / Invincible.
Ah well.
Weird result, but hey, that's democracy.

Man, Spider-Man and Doom titles were the best of 2099. If we get X-2099 and Ravage before Spidey and Doom characters, I'll be very sad. I'll accept a Hulk 2099.

I only read Spiderman2099 for a few issues and don't really remember anything else from the stories except the Hulk's tongue so I won't vote. :cross-eye

After him, I want the main 'classic' non-X-Men 2099 characters (Ravage [in Beast-Man form preferably], Punisher, Hulk, and Ghost Rider. I could live with Bloodhawk, Skullfire and Meanstreak as the token X-Men though).

I know he wasn't the most popular guy ever, but I glad I'm not the only person who voted for Ravage.

Punisher because I didnt mind Punisher 2099 back in the day, and Doom so I can put the old CT Doom on the base and have another variation of Doom.

I voted Doom but I hope we get Hulk and GR as well. Now where is the poll for voting on what would be a reasonable price for a collector's set? ........
We need a new Doom that's as tough as the new Darkseid. Plus I can always use him as 616 Doom as well.
Dooms a given, so I went with Hulk. There has to be ONE playable version out there somewhere. Doesn't there?

Had to go with Doom. If thats the same Exodus as the 616 Exodus though, I woulda said Exodus.
My vote is Hulk 2099.
(If I could have voted for 2nd place too, I'd have also picked X-Men 2099.)

There should be two listings for Punisher 2099. There was a good one with the REAL 2099's and a horrid one released last year. We don't want to cause any confusion.

I'm sorry you wasted all your time counting those, but moreso because my sarcasm was lost on you.
I was anticipating the inevitable and repetitive combo of Charge and B/C/F for my figure of choice for Marvel 2099: Ghost Rider. Frankly, I'd prefer some whacky powers for him, to reflect his other, more 'unique' abilities.

No problem; I was just bored at work!
It has to be X-men 2099. And I have three really good reasons.
#1) It will be the only opportunity to get thre whole X-men 2099 team en masse, and hopefully with their own team ability or Feat Card upgrade. All the other individuals make good choices for one or two slots of Uniques per regular sets. We know we'll get Doom, Punisher, and GR no matter what anyway.
#2) Although I am the hugest FF fan, but as everyone knows, FF 2099 were the real FF, so no point in redoing Fantastic Forces already.
#3) X-Nation was abunch of snot nosed kids that I don't even remember the names of, let alone their powers. And I bought the book. LOL!
Here's hoping that in any case, Punisher 2099 will be a Transporter on his way cool Jetbike.

Well actually, according to Karl Kesel (FF2099 writer) they weren't. But your point is well taken - there's no power/ability difference between the originals and the FF2099, so there's little point doing what amounts to a repaint.
