Let the discussions flow. Likes, dislikes, classic film or overhyped trash, and DONT FORGET to place an Overall Rating when youre done.
Its easy, just give a Rating from 1 (Jaws 4:The Revenge) to 10 (Jaws), and thats it. Course I'd love to have you all give reasons as to why you feel it deserves this Overall Rating, and more than encourage discussions with us all about them.
So, what say you all?
Next Film: ??????
OK, I guess Ill start her off here. :)
To me, The Wizard Of Oz is a film Ive watched nearly every year for all of my childhood. I remember my father taping the songs on an old tape recorder and playing it back for the kids here and there. I remember being deathly afraid of the glowing green Wizard head at the end (Hey, I was a kid, remember) I remember having a Huge crush on Dorothy, and being equally crushed when my parents told me she was dead. (again, YOUNG KID HERE, who didnt understand this movie was made a LONG time ago)
This film is a True Classic in every sense, and as old as it is, I see this enchanting and entertaining children of all ages literally forever. A picture perfect family film, that has it all. Youll probably not find a more Classic family film in my mind, and that includes The Muppet Movie (though I do admit I havent seen this since I was a wee lad :))

A couple of mistakes here and there, but it was a long time ago. Its a classic

It's a classic. And, seeing it nearly every year during my early childhood, and sometimes as an adult, I have to admit this movie delves nearly towards the horror section.
This movie really freaked me out as a kid.

A great, great movie. The magic still works after nearly 70 years. The songs, the make-up, the change to technicolor. I could maybe deduct a half a point for a few spots where is shows its age, but that's just being petty.
10 of 10
I like this movie. I'm going to give it a 9.6/10 (just above the 9.5 everyone elce is giving it). It's a classic in the true sence of the word.

This movie is a true classic. Its use of color, a sweet moral and loveable characters make just too lovable.

OK, so Ill mark your City Of Angels as your GP, so why dont you pick 2 others from your list as your generic choices, and maybe a sequel to a film we already have? (We already have T2 and ESB)

Some of my ideas:
Rocky Horror
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Lost Boys (Wondering if I should see it)
More to come maybe.

Well, then I pick Braveheart and eXistenZ as my generic choices.
Though I doubt that many people have seen eXistenZ.
Dunno about Sequels, really.
It's a classic. Meaning it's cool when your a kid. Between all of the singing and Dorothy's voice, I'd like to flip if I had to watch it all the way through again.
7.5 It's still a good movie despite my biases.

I loved this movie when I was little and, at the age of 16, I still adore this film. It is well made and heart warming. It also happens to be one of my father's favorite films and that is the very last thing you would expect out of him. A true classic.
My Rating- 9.7

According to Empire Movie Magazine, if you start Dark Side at the right place, it actually does do this.

Good film. I always enjoy watching it, plus it was pretty crazy for the time it came out.
