I've had these feats on my mind for a while now to protect figures with activation clicks and allow those figures to show their hidden strength from a dramatic perspective. I couldn't decide which was the better way to go, so I thought I'd throw both out there. Let me know what you think.

================
Feat: Harmless Civilian
Prerequisites: No powers, excluding Earthbound or Battle Fury; Damage value of 0 or 1

Choose a character.

When this character is chosen as the target of an attack, roll one six-sided die. On a result of 5 or 6, the attack cannot be made. The attacker must choose another target or be given a different action.

Cost: 8 points

================
Feat: Underestimated
Prerequisites: No powers, excluding Earthbound or Battle Fury; Damage value of 0 or 1

Choose a character.

(Optional) When this character is dealt damage from an attack, roll one six-sided die. On a result of 4, 5, or 6, damage dealt is reduced to 1. On a result of 1, 2, or 3, assign an action token to the attacker. After the action is resolved, remove this feat from the game.

Cost: 5 points
================

Personally, I think the second feat is more fun and offers a diehard quality for some generics.

Everyone would use them on pieces like Little Sure Shot and Knuckles.

Meat sheilds don't need help. I like the idea of them but I think they would be abused too much.

I hear what you're saying about pumping up scrubs, but I don't think that's too big an issue. With the restrictions in place on the feats (particularly the 0 or 1 damage), any given fig has at most 5 clicks where they can use either feat. Shape change is a relatively cheap power and 5 clicks of it probably runs for 5 points or less. To pump up generics or LE's of generics, you'd be bumping up their cost by 25% or more. In the case of bystanders, you're at least doubling the cost of the character. If you want to build a swarm team to use these things similar to the tentacle pog teams, go right ahead. You're dumping points into pure cannon fodder. Personally, I'd rather use an army of Scourges. :)

In the interests of being open, would it help if Harmless Civilian merely granted shape change as an outwit-able power? Or what if enemies ignored the harmless civilian for the purposes of movement?
