Seeing the success of a CSA team made me want to do a poll. Who is your favorite CSA figure that is in current sets?

Ultraman
I had to go with the Bruiser in the CSA family. Her 11 attack and 4 damage natural make her mean. Teaming her up with oberon or maggie Sawyer only makes her that much better. I think Owlman and Ultraman were very close in terms of who I liked the most.

Owlman, though character wise, i'm partial to Ultraman. :grin:
Playing Owlman, is like playing Batman in one of those reverse dial games. I like having oracle on the card with him, and he becomes a one-man support unit, who also makes an excellent 2nd or third attacker. He is a thinking man's piece- if you play him like you would an E Batman, he'll get stomped.

I like using Owlman also, because he is basically the Batman of the CD set in reverse form. He works well with the other CSA figs, but you can't use them together unless your in a 600+ point game. I'm really hoping that they come out with Johnny Quick and Power Ring in the next DC set.

owlman is a clear choice for me. His go anywhere support role along with his late dial willpower and stealth makes him very playable. The Vet Superwoman is nice, but I've never been a fan of the late dial incap/willpower/no range combo that all the wonder woman variants have.

I've had lots of success with E Superwoman. The V is a worthwhile upgrade, but I like the points the E makes available. And I like the slim possibility of hitting that 3 damage/Willpower/Incap click that I'll throw Stunning Blow on her. Ill advised, probably, but I've been able to make it work.
I have yet to use Owlman, but I'm intrigued now that he made top 8 (plus someone placed 16th at WWE with him, too).

If Owlman started with willpower I'd be all over him, but without it he loses too much in comparison to the Bat. Vet Superwoman is the most consistantly figure for her points.

V Superwoman is nasty and her powers are great, owlman is alright but he needs stealth to be truely effective, and ultraman is to overcostly for his points at least parallax and ases and truely do damage at an eight range but ultraman has alwasy gotten blown away

Ultraman just because of his first click, though if I had Owlman it would probably be him.

I had to go with Owlman. He's one of the lynchpins in my "Evil Batman" 300 point team of:
U Prometheus + Protected
U Owlman + Nanobots
2x V HIVE Trooper
E Vixen
Won the Kyle Raynor Qual. with this team so Owlman is alright in my book.

Had to go with Owlman on this one. Although I love using V Superwoman, Owlman is clearly t3h p0wnz0rd! Most of my opponents always think he has stealth, and thus leave him alone. Bad Idea! He is a very mishevious peice and the sculpt is just soooo bad ###. Sculpting team gettings a round of applause for their work on him. I cant wait til I have the entire team! Muahahahahahaha!

I agree with that point. His average base damage per click is 3.5, or 5.5 if you count CCE and RCE.
But to me he's not a great choice b/c his average defense is 15.5 with only 1 click of 17 defense middial.
Also his average attack is 8.3 with nothing above average after his 3rd click.
I shy away from that since 212 points could buy 3 damage dealers with decent AVs

I think they're all pretty awesome, aside from the R/LE Superwoman. In the end I picked V Superwoman, though, since I've probably used her the most.
Owlman, because he's the best dial to use for either Hawk-Owl or Moon Knight.

I went with Exp Superwoman. The Vet's nice, but I can never seem to fit her onto the team. Hopefully Power Ring's an R/E/V, a team of uniques doesn't leave us with much wiggle room.

Owlman all the way. He's been on MOST of my teams since CD came out. Can't remember the last time I favored a figure so heavily.
That said, V Superwoman may be the best no-range brick of our time. Yeah, Cain Marko is nasty, and Persuader has some crazy options, but that Superwoman can put some BEATS on. A brick with good av's, dv's and PC?!?!?! SICK.
I have fond memories of literally destroying my opponents in the Legacy Pre-Release with a veteran Superwoman. :)
Haven't used her since, but I'm sure -- someday -- I'll pull her out of the tacklebox again!

V Superwoman. She completely embraces Darkness/Deep Shadows and her 17 defense is just bad enough to make her CSA team ability really handy.
With Pummel coming out I have to go with Ultraman. Owlman is a close second.

While Owlman is much easier to fit onto teams, has a great array of powers, and has a sculpt second only to 2099 Spidey for awesomeness, I picked Ultraman. I've had a lot of success with him, from destoying Sentry and his Avengers buddies, to tearing apart Ultimate Thor after vaporizing Vet Ult. Cap w/ one shot. :grin:

V Superwoman w/ Destiny is my favorite abuse... a lot of the time Destiny doesn't have to move... That allows her to alway grab a token from Superwoman. Also for such a powerful TA Superwoman does not seem bad for her points.

i already use my Superwoman exp so many times, and im amazed with her stats.
i consider it as my good luck charm because it made me win several times already. :cool:
ultra man with owlman a close second.....the powerdrop on ulta man is terrible but at range he' deadly

But yes, Johnny Quick is missing from the poll, and I know he has been used a LOT. His power set is pretty sweet too.
My favorite is Owlman, the dial is great but the sculpt is just top-notch. The best sculpt ever in Heroclix I think, pretty much bar none to me.
I pulled Owlman out of my first CD booster on a whim, and Owlman is what really focused me on buying stuff again after some time away from it.

Yeah, I just looked back at the beginning of this thread. Rock forgot to put Johnny Quick on, because when the poll was started Johnny Quick hadn't been made yet (in 2006)!!! Power Ring is also missing for the same reason.
Man, this is why the polls should end automatically instead of having open-ended dates. I'm not saying a moderator should close this thread, but it might be a good idea, because over time, the poll has lost it's meaning, though it is a good reflection on how things used to be. :)

Personally, while Owlman's sculpt is really good, nothing has topped Spider-Man 2099 from FF yet, IMO.
This should be a no-brainer for Ultraman, but I've always had problems with using him. Yes, he can deal out damage, but he has such a glass jaw. One decent hit and he's a lame duck. In this day and age of outwit and high attack values, I just don't see how he makes the cut....especially for the COST. No thanks, put me down for Owlman.

eh, I just voted today and discovered that it started in 2006 (which explained why Johnny Quick and Power Ring is not in the poll.) *chuckle*
Otherwise, it is nice to see the others comments to see if it still reflects to this time to see which one is the best. Owlman is clearly the best.....speaking of Owlman, it has been a flying rumor that Owlman will be a new member of .......
