Let the discussions flow. Likes, dislikes, classic film or overhyped trash, and DONT FORGET to place an Overall Rating when youre done.
Its easy, just give a Rating from 1 (Jaws 4:The Revenge) to 10 (Jaws), and thats it. Course I'd love to have you all give reasons as to why you feel it deserves this Overall Rating, and more than encourage discussions with us all about them.
So, what say you all?

Ah, Connery's first Bond outing. Been a while since I've seen it admittedly, and so I'm rating it more on the impression it left than any real particulars. It isn't the absolute strongest Bond film out there, but it was still something special. If for no other reason than introducing the world to the 007 theme, I've got to give it a thumbs up.
7.75 of 10.
Not alot of James Bond fans here on HCR then?
Unfortunately I havent seen this film myself, as is the case with some of these HCR Members Pick The Movies ones were doing currently. But if you have seen it, and could like to comment on the first outing of everyones favorite British Secret Agent, please do. :)
Dr. No was fairly good. However, if I was to watch it again, it'd be mostly out of nostalgia and not so much because of how entertaining the movie is. In any case, I have to give it props for starting something absolutely golden.

(2 members rating).......So, no other james Bond fans out there then?
IIRC, this is Bond's first movie??
I've seen it a few times and loved it everytime.

'Nuff Said.
Excelsior!
Far from my favorite, but still a very solid outing. Gets bonus points for starting it all.
8 out of 10.
Dr No? the movie that was spoofed by the Flintstones with Madam Yes(no? Yes.)?
This is a fantastic movie. It is a product of it's time with the fighting styles, special effects, bit actors but you do get a feel for the British Colonial rule.
That opening scene at the card table......... when the hot lady asks; "and you are?"
"Bond, James Bond"
That was cool and the soundtrack made it sizzle!
From Russia with Love and Goldfinger are barely better(my favorite being FRwL) but one day I hope to get all the Connery films on DVD.
9 out of 10.
Trivia; if you listen carefully you cn hear Sean Connery's scottish burr.
underneath the mango tree.....

This is the first Bond film, and so it does have some quirks. It is not as good as the second, third, or fourth film, but it is an enjoyable film.
Connery is still the best actor that's done Bond. Hard, cruel, cold, mysoginestic (sic?), a killer on a leash.
Still, he hadn't quite hit his stride yet.

Sean Connery Is Bond !
I liked Roger Moore too, but Sean will always be the nr.1 Bond.
9.5/10:classic:
It's an OK film. Nothing about it really stands out as being superb.
7/10
