Is Shadowcat tournament legal?

This might be a stupid question, but I need to know the answer. Since Universe is still tournament legal that makes the old Shadowcat still legal.

My question is what if I have a Shadowcat, but from Xplosion? Can I play her in tournaments even though she doesn't have the Universe base?


Sorry if it's a silly question, but I usually don't play in tournaments. I've built a team for the Sinister pre-release that includes V Shadowcat.

If it was reprinted in Universe, you can play it. Doesn't matter if it is the actual Universe piece or the Infinity Challenge/Xplosions piece.
