Hey, Rock. You forgot to list me in the Writers' List though I did get a byline. :disappoin
Also, I didn't realize a factual gaffe ref the MoE team that Goliath can't benefit from Inspiring Command because Goliath costs 4 more points than Baron Zemo.
sorry GL, my bad on that. Tried to pump thje magazine out as fast as possible

ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN GIVEN OUT. Please PM me if you did not receive your copy
This isn't a nitpick on the issue - some good reading there. Was looking through Cracompany's thoughts on his championship team, and there's one scenario that isn't making sense to me.
If a Nova Blasting EE got off one pulse wave to whipe out the pogs and deal one click to Fist, or even better got off a Nova Blast that hit Fist and the pogs, but caught the pogs away from Fist, how does he counter those four clicks?
This also falls into the disbanded and getting Nova Blasted range - there doesn't seem to be a solid counter for that (as pulse wave will ignore protected).
I am finding because of the mass sending this is taking a little more time to send out then normal. Please PM me soon if you have not received this. I may have to resend a few

Hey I did not receive issue #6. First one I did not receive so I am sending a pm with my email.
I am finding the magazine was TOO big for many peoples inbox. However, I have a way around it. You just won't get the extras like the bystander tokens or the sinister checklist. Please PM me immediately and I will have the magazine to you as fast as possible.

Although I completely understand if it was due to the holiday and everything.
I should have sent it out. If I get a Mailer Daemon Failure as I have been getting with many messages I try to send out the message again. After it happens a third time there is not much I can do.

If it involves MoE and/or Inspiring Commander, you already know I like it! As I mentioned above, I'll be pulling my copy off the pbrainprojects site as soon as its available.

I'm also curious as to what you think of the way I wrote the article where I tried to balance pro's & con's of using Inspiring Command. BTW, I used a 500 point MoE team last Saturday & while it didn't win, it was fun to play & did unleash some KO's early in the game. I'll be experimenting more with it in the future.

I loved the latest issue especially the Inspiring Command article (love the new MoE ). Shame about the Goliath. I was worried before reading it that by themed it was going to be so full of Superman articles that it might stray into boring esp if you were not keen on whatever the theme was each issue. (hate spiderman oh goodie a spiderman villians issue kind of thing). No fear. Enough strategy articles that if you hate superman you still enjoy the issue. Spot on. Well done.

Originally, I tried to come up with one Superman Ally team & one Superman Enemy team but only CJ Lex Luthor can use Inspiring Command & I couldn't come up with a team that wasn't Lex Luthor & his Lex Corp employees so I scrapped that idea & then had an epiphany ref Inspiring Command & MoE comboing good together like peanut butter & jelly. I'm glad you liked it.

I liked the article. You definitely hit one of the key aspects of the Inspiring Command: move and attack powers. The IC-MOE team idea is brilliantly evil.
My only tweaks would be to try and fit more members on the squad, especially if you can combine a taxi-brute pair to replace Goliath...something like (flying)Yellowjacket (or T-bolt E-19 Wasp) and Mr. Hyde? With the new MoE TA, Controller might be a pretty deadly addition as well, if you can make foes walk up for the beatdown.
For 500 points, I'd even consider TWO Inspiring Commanders (I'm blanking on the Crimson Cowl's dial), depending on how you think you might end up deployed. Rookie Moonstone is probably my favorite MoE taxi...I always make sure she has an object (usually the +2 DV desk).

Crimson Cowl has Leadership on her 1st 2 clicks & Phasing for all 6 clicks. At 80 points, she can't give the Inspiring Command effect to as many MoE characters as Baron Zemo or Ultron-5 though Ultron-5 can't use the IC effect until clicks 5 & 6 when he gets Mastermind & there isn't a good chance that you'll guarantee getting to one of those 2 clicks which is why front-loaded Mastermind or Leadership is infinitely better to use with IC.

Here's another funny thing reference MoE from back in the day. Before NAAT, I was trying to come up with a GL/MoE "tank" concept with 3 MoE figures being carried in front of a GL figure & getting 3-4 attacks (depending if Whirlwind was in front or not) for 1 action.

A T-Bolt'd Wasp can't use the effect from Inspiring Command because her team symbol is still considered Avengers even if the team ability has been changed to MoE. Yellowjacket's a good idea for the team symbol but her dial is very shallow.

I should have been a little clearer, in my mind I was moving away from the Inspiring Command...as teams get larger, I've found that grouping them to take advantage of team abilities (and now feats like IC, or LoS for Brilliant Tactician) gets problematic.
E-19 Wasp (w/ T-bolts) has become (in my mind, anyway) shorthand for "give me a cheap Taxi with a certain team ability"...and spending so few points on it, the E-19(+5) is not likely to be a major target.
If you just want TAXI and don't care about Team ability/symbol, then obviously LockJaw is almost always your best bet because of deeper dial, great range, blocking capabilities, transporter attack options and simple powers on move (phasing) and defense (toughness)

I pulled this off in the 200-point pre-NAAT era using:
Multiple Wasps (33 pointers, w/ Avenger move)
Multiple Whirlwinds (Vet MoE, 41? points each)
LE Vulture
Wasp would carry Vulture and WW.
Then Vulture would fly/charge WW up onto roof to crack sniper
The second WW would move into position behind the Wasps to be carried up onto roof for second turn.
In 300 points, just add more WWs, some leadership Wasps-44, etc.
The low AVs were the biggest problem, but once those MoE/Flurry beatdowns began, life was good....until the rules for MoE and Flurry were changed out from under me.

Hey, guys, I did the Superman Enemies articles.
I'd appreciate any feedback as I'm mainly doing theme teams for the Theme Articles in Critical Hit.
What did you like? What didn't you like?
Thanks!
