Is this the one with Errol Flynn?
That is is, the Classic Robin Hood of old.

Cool.
I've seen this movie when I was a kid and I enjoyed it very much. A lot more than Kevin Costner's movie.
From the vague impressions I remember an 8/10 seems warranted.
Hollywood in it's Glory Days.......
They don't make'em like this anymore....
I miss the peasents with scissors cut holes in thier costumes.. er..uh... clothes.
Magnificent! I adored this movie growing up... even the kissing parts.
10/10.

I love this film. It's so over the top campy. The vivid color and Robin Hood theme are great. It is incredibly cheesy, but it's so much fun to watch.
8.5/10

I have to give this a 10. I love the old swashbucklers and this is one of the best. Errol Flynn has probably defined everyone's image of Robin Hood for the last 75 years. Compared to Flynn, Costner had nothin', absolutely zero charisma. Great supporting cast too, Claude Rains, Basil Rathbone, Olivia de Haviland. And you can't tell me John Williams wasn't weaned on Erich Korngold's thrilling score. Never tire of this movie.

great movie !
8/10
Eroll Flynn made a great Robin Hood (as he does a great Pirate, etc.) one of the best " old" hollywood actors !

Far superior to the Costner version, in my opinion. Old-school feel to it and that's not a bad thing. I mean, come on, how bad-### is Flynn when he kicks in the Banquet Hall doors, strolls on in with one of the King's stags on his shoulders, and tosses the buck on the King's table? That's a man's man baby!
I give it an 8.5 out of 10.
Ha! Ha! Welcome to Sherwood. 10, eventhough I'd redo all the fight scenes.
This one's a 10. Wonderful Flynn vs. Rathbone sword fight & Flynn was born to play that part. (Flynn also kills Rathbone in Captain Blood, the other perfect Errol Flynn classic.)
