Hey all,
Sinister was out and Super Nova is to come, and the most prevalant figures in the Marvel sets are the X-men. So which X-men member do you want most made into clix form.

well, I'm happy with all what we already get, but a new Iceman with cool classic sculp without pain in the face can be nice.
I have to say this was a tough one for me.
I really want Emma Frost again in character form, then again after seeing Multiple Man I would really want a Stepford Cuckoo character set made. Though the X-men that I most want and liked in x-plosion was Iceman. Iceman leaves so many options with team abilities and with how diverse some of the new abilities that are out there.

this was hard one I would love to see Jubliee, Sunspot, The Stepford Cuckoos, a remade Iceman and heck even X-23, but my vote had to go a remade Emma Frost, gotta have a dial that represent her switching back and forth from diamond mode to psyhic powers and a sculpt in her Astonishing or New X-men outfits

I loved Chris Claremont's and Larry Hama's characterizations of her. She is long overdue.

Ema Frost because her X-Men version is one of the worst hero clix, and since Shaw got the brotherhood team abiliy she should get it as well.

It was close between Emma and Caliban, but I have Emma already. Caliban once snapped Sabertooth's back and left him floating face down in a sewer tunnel. Caliban was one of Apocalypse's Horsemen. Caliban was a member of X-Force. There are a lot of reasons why Caliban should be made.

Rock, I totally agree. I'd like to get a Grant Morrison New X-Men Emma Frost REV with a "diamond form" Vet. Likewise, generic Stepford Cuckoos (with mind control or psychic blast powers) would also be very cool. Let's hope we see some innovations in Supernova.

Such a difficult choice between two of my favorites. I really would love to see a Sunspot, but I couldn't toss the vote his way when Bobby just got shafted out of the Danger Room set. 4 out of 5 of the Original X-Men and X-Factor are in there....
His X-Plosion representation is a bit weak through and through and I think it's time he got his due.

definately Iceman if he's a unique or a mailaway, then give him the Spiderman TA. If an REV/LE I'd say R Xmen, E Defenders, V Xmen/ LE Spiderman. If only and REV(no LE) then Xmen, Spidey, Xmen. Seth could do lots of great things with him. Maybe some plasticity, CCE for his spiked arms, some toughness, and maybe even poison for when he drops the tempature around him.:cool:

This is a tough one to decide. But if its going to be a new figure, which i would rather have anyhow then I must vote Jubilee.
If I would have to pick a figure to be remade then I would go for Emma Frost. Maybe Iceman next.
But I would be happy with either Jubilee or Emma first.

I feel the same way as Emberwild, Jubilee is long overdue, so I voted for her, but Strong Guy needs to be made, so that X-Factor can have a complete team. We've finally got Multiple Man (although I don't care for the dials), but it's just not the same without good ol' Guido. :) Also, Shard and Random could be cool 'clix.
In the end, I voted Bobby, because he really needs a redue, although I really wanted to pick Emma and the cuckoos too.
For the Cuckoos, I wouldn't do them like Multiple Man, because there were only 5. I'd make a double base (non-transporter), with the 5 of them in the R, 4 in the E and only 3 in the V. (To represent as 2 of them died). I'd also be tempted to make the R the most powerfull (as there were 5), and the V the weakest.
Honestly, i've never been happy with a single cyclops figure made yet.
He would be at the top of my list, as the leader of the X-men and one of the classic marvel characters. He should be a figure that everyone would want to throw into their x-men forces and not just a side note.
There is lots of potential for him.
Ranges have leapt to 12 now
Make him a team player, starting with leadership and then go into outwit, maybe perplex but i'd opt for outwit first.
=> Excellent candidate for inspiring command. If he was around 80 points that would give willpower to almost any x-man beside him. And i think starting him with a single click of willpower would not be too farfetched either. Allowing the whole team (provided they are X-men) to push without damage as long as they stay tucked in close. This would represent his leadership capabilities and exellent battle strategies.:devious:
My vote would be for Cyclops.
Ofcourse, they always could do with another Wolverine...:p hehe

I took other, as my two would be:
Captain Britain and Colossus
CB should have at least one click of charge on every single version, possibly a little faster, and slightly better attack values down his dial (his Vet should be just silly as the ruler of Otherworld, and his LE should be his time with the baton and lion costume).
Colossus hasn't had a solid click yet.
My "Other" vote goes to Husk aka Paige Guthrie, just to finish off the horribly over-dramatic yet at least well drawn Uncanny X-men team from Austen's run.

Tough choice for me. I want a 616 Dazzler, in a BAD way. But I also want Sage, Caliban, and Sunspot-just not as bad. A redone Iceman would be great, as well as Cyclops.
I NEVER want to see a Jubilee-EVER, haven't had a chance to read Shatterstar, and am not really moved by the other choices.

I voted Sunspot. The New Mutants graphic novel (and Larry Hamas GI Joe series) got me into collecting comics back in the early 80's. I had read comics but never really considered myself a collector.
I collected on/off through the mid 90's and am familiar with the character Jubilee but don't understand what people really saw in her. I just don't get it. Would anybody care to explain...........?

Jubilee is a good choise because first she is not a remake and second because she is important in the X-Men work and Marvel world, she was in the animated TV version (media) and she was in the famous Xmen Jim Lee run. also she was in Marvel Vs DC. I'm not a X-Men fan and I can see her as a spotlight character in the past years.
But the heck! she is not old school! the hell with her. :rolleyes: :p

Just today I made an Astonishing X-Men team and Emma was the only non-X-Men affiliated character on the team. The Exp is nice enough, but it doesn't represent her diamond form at all. What we need is a combination of the current Exp and Vet. But make sure she's still <=80 points, cause they currently make a perfect 400 point team. :)

I went with "Other", because there's a huge list of X-Characters I'd like to see made/remade: All of the listed ones, 616 Dazzler, Strong Guy, Pete Wisdom, Sage/Tessa, Husk, Dr. Cecelia Reyes, Beast (w/ an Avengers TA version), Wolverine (again, w/ an Avengers TA version), Jean Grey (a more amped-up version of ther DR fig...w/ flight please), Professor Xavier, Colossus, Wolfsbane, Feral, Rictor, Shard, Skids, Artie, Leech, Beak, Dust...I could probably keep going for days

New figure? Jubilee because we know we're getting Sunspot SOONER or later. With current events in comics as they are (Decimation), Jubilee's chances diminish every passing day. They better not reduce her to pog status.

I went with Stepford Cukoos, mostly because I think Marvel needs to slow down with re-makes or limit them to an Icons type base set. A close 2nd to Shatterstar (and Feral wouldn't hurt to round out the *gulp* Liefield X-Force)
That, and I think most of the others on that list have a really good shot of being made anyway.

Iceman hand down. His first clix was weak. He's got the ability to fly and use his ice/freezing abilities for attacking, barrier and defense. He's overdue for a re-make.

E White Queen is a really good figure but it would be nice to have an X-Men TA version that wasn't solely for Inspiring Command. I also haven't warmed to the idea about that stupid Diamond version thing.
So I'm gonna go with Sunspot for newness...

I think it's hilarious that 39 people (thus far) have voted for Shatterstar and only one person has actually posted to admit to it. Does anyone *really* look back on X-Force with any kind of fondness? Gimme another Iceman. His first version was one of the earliest attempts at the "dynamic pose" that so many figures have today. I'd love to see them try him again at the new factory.
Emma has changed so much since CT that I want a new version. That is why I voted her.
Iceman....yeah, I can see why everyone wants another Bobby. But I would rather have Emma. For me, its Emma or Bobby.

I'd like to see another Iceman REV. It's really hard to make X-men theme teams when he's retired. His powers changed alot over the years too. Didn't he freeze the blood of Legion from the inside out once?
I'd like to see Emma Frost come back too.

I therefore had to vote for 'other' as there are a host of mutants I'd like to see before any of the above, including:

Someone explain to me how it can be that Iceman leads this poll - easily - yet in the Marvel "People's Champ" poll, Sunspot is way out there in the lead of desired mutant heroes...

I'd like to see a new sculpt of Mimic (both Original and Exiles).
Exiles Mimic could have almost any super power on each click...you can have some really sweet combinations.
I'd also like to see Nocturne and Morph.

we should have gotten Iceman in the Danger Room instead of Storm or Angel
The Xplosion version was SOOO bad, and they didn't make one for the Spider-Man team, so we can't have Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends
I would like to see Sunspot to round out the New Mutants. Ice Man would be nice to give us curent pieces for X-Factor, he should have ben in the box set instead of Storm. A new Emma Frost would be nice. Instead of her V representing her diamond form, she should switch to it for the last half of her dial, as a defencive thing.

Other/none, there are too many other pieces I'd rather see. Sunspot is missing from an original New Mutants team, but I've replaced him with Misty Knight, and she plays like he should... "HA HA! I'm Super Strong! *fizzle* Puta..." ;)

Well ... I kinda do ... except the fact that I always found Liefield 's pencils terrible , I do look back to the old Cable and X-Forces issues I got with nostalgia (not sure that's proper english ...). It's not really beautiful ... nor storylines are that much interesting ... but it's powerful and energic ... and it is a real muscle macho team (Shatterstar's a good example of the macho part) and many Marvel heroes at the time were too soft for me ... plus I've always loved blades fighters so I did just vote for Shatty.
... and by the way I still dunno who are X-23 and the Stepford Cuckoos ...

X-23 is a female clone of Wolverine, and I don't mean that in a way that her character concept is alot like Wolverine, I mean clone. She was introduced in the NYX series by Quesada.
The Stepford Cuckoos were a set of telepathic quadruplets or quintuplets I can't recall right now as I am not that fond of the run or the characters from the Morrison run on New X-Men, one died though I do remember that much. They are very stuck up and at least for the beginning of their time in the X comics were Emma Frost's prized students. I don't think they like her as much now.
But none of that matters, because what matters most is we need X-Babies in clix form as they are the greatest incarnation of the X characters.
Thanx a lot SQuigley316 I didn't read Nyx so couldn't know this one but I do know the Stepford Cuckoos in fact ! Kinda like'em actually . Trouble was I got New X-Men 114-138 in French and I didn't make the connection between the French translation and their actual name (one of them actually died in issue 127 or 138)
And I totally agree with you on the X-Babies ! They rock ! A funny thing would be to see in clix the previous X-Men clones (female ones, robot ones and the better : animal ones !)(X-Men Annual 12)

I put down Emma Frost beccause Jean Gray is retiring and she seems like she'd have about the same abilities but with stronger defense stats and possibly damage stats. The honorable mention goes to Storm, because we have yet to see her "godess" click that goes beyond the paltry "mere mortal" clicks that she's been given. I am quite impressed with the Danger Room Storm but at only 40 points she only makes a third string attacker (IMHO).

Yeah, thanks for that Joe Q. What could have been a great book, with a great artist, will now forever be known to both fans and price guides as "First appearance of X-23." I'm just glad that Middleton's getting solid work at DC.

NYX is a good title, they don't spill it during the course of the run that she's Wolverine's clone. They didn't do that until they gave her her own mini, I think she was handled pretty cool in NYX, everything pretty much was. The Josh Middleton's art rocked just like his covers on New Mutants that turned to New X-Men. If you pick up the series you'll become a fan of Middleton.

Yeah, you definitely come away as a fan of Middleton. Like many other books at Marvel these days, publishing delays hurt it badly. Of course, it's not often that you can blame those delays directly on the editor in chief, but that's what happens when you try to wear too many hats. What was supposed to be a book with an open run turned into a miniseries. And a guy who was supposed to be an up and coming art talent for Marvel ends up with a contract at DC (you can check out some of his panels at his website here (http://www.joshuamiddleton.com/sequentials.htm)).

Even with ICEMAN "no longer a Mutant" there seems a keen need for him on the Clix table. He is one of the "classic" X-men (the original Taxi), features in the movies and (with Beast) became an X-man AND a Defender (yes, I am old). He has evolved with time without being a focal player.
Ultimate X-men focused on his potency and his age/character and breathed more life into what was always an amazing idea for a mutuant. The Ice-powers were always way COOL and his original sculpt was one of the BEST of the early pieces and paved the way for imaginative and kinetic character interpretations (anx pretty translucent plastic).
Yeah, it would be nice to see ALL the X-men but ICEMAN still seems to have the most significant appeal.

Iceman is still a mutant, they teased for a little that he may be effected by the Decimation but he was actually just blocking out his own powers due to psycholgical issues. Emma fixed him. He's a part of the current Mike Carey Chris Bacchalo X-Men run.

Jubilee did get noticeably more powerful over the years.
Jubilee was big part of the X-Men in the 90s, a sidekick for Wolverine, a founding member of Generation X - I think she's prominent enough to be a good addition to the game.
Although... I wouldn't mind seeing a new Iceman with Leap/Climb and the transporter ability. I think the ability to fly doesn't quite suit Iceman, but it was the best way to handle him at the time. These days, he could be made more effectively.

Though I voted for Shatterstar, who I really want to see in heroclix form is Fore-Arm!!! He has to have a full dial of super strength, charge that reverts to flurry and a full dial of damage reducers and either close combat expert or battle fury.
Also I've been racking my brain as to why Omega Red has not been made?!?!?
I would be very happy if they remade Magik.
I thought that character was great and unfortunetly her clix is not so great.:(

Really? I LOVE this piece and know many people that do. Full dial of phasing, 8 range, easy enough to heal. 3 clix of BCF and 4 damage at range on the 1st click. She is a FANTATSIC support killer.
Put Passenger on her and let her carry Wolfsbane or Colossus. She takes the click of damage for the passenger and then trades it with W or C to get them activated.
Ot stick her with the Exp Shadowcat from Sinister as the "Team Supreme" and she is a 19 to hit at range.
She is one of the New Mutant pieces I always want to play. Yes, her AV sinks like a rock, but she brings a lot to the table for the points.

That's easy. Sunspot isn't percieved as getting the "shaft" from Wizkids. I mean, c'mon, making a starter set with 4 of the 5 original X-Men AND the the same 4 out of 5 original members of X-Factor? Heck they are even IN the costumes representing X-Factor? Is there any possbile reason why they decided to have him out? Of course there is!!
This is the point where I wanted to start the "Seth hates Iceman" movement, but honestly, I am just too lazy. Do I know Seth hates Iceman? Not really, but since when did a silly thing like facts ever stop rampant Internet speculation? At the very least, the "Wizkids hates Iceman" movement actually has merit.
So in typical Internet and Heroclix fan whiny-ness, I state that: Wizkids has never answered why Iceman was not in the Danger Room starter, or the booster set that accompanied it (i.e. Wolvie in Sinister). It's a tradegy, end of the world, etc, ete, blah blah blah.

It was a tough call but I said Emma Frost. Iceman was right up there with her, but his earlier clix was just a little better for play over the Veteran White Queen IMO.
We still need a new Bobby Drake though.

I mean, to me Iceman isn't that bad ... and Emma Frost isn't either ... isn't it better to have new characters ?

I love Astonishing X-Men too but they arent' my favorites when I plan a X-Men team ... anyhow I don't play in "official" games so I do only theme teams or scenarios with my friends where we use the figs we do have ... and to us it's much better to have a new fig than an already edited one ... even if the already-edited one sucks ... I do understand that you need her effective for a team but my friends and I are trying to recreate the Marvel Universe so a Shatterstar or a Sunspot would be a great addition to our figs (I'd love the Stepford Cuckoos myself ... loved what Grant Morrison did to the X-Men ... and how Whedon "healed" them!)

How about in the next set they give us all 5 original X-men/X Factor members, in REV form, with stats that are believable. Moreover, they need a Feat card for the X-teams, like they did with Alpha Flight and the Avengers. Personally, I want to see X-Factor, X-Force and maybe even Excalibur.

As much as I like Emma, I went with her proteges instead - the Stepford Cuckooks would just be fun. Give 'em powers that get better the more of them you have in play (e.g. - Perplex) so that you can justify the group of them hanging out and, hey, good reason to field Emma too. :)
I'd have to say Iceman. First off, I love him, and with the Danger Room having at least Scott, Jean, and Warren in their original costumes, (I think) I'd like to see an Uncanny X-men #1 version. And AFAIK, he was only in one set, but besides that, whether or not I'm correct, I'd like a version of him that packs a little more "punch", and isn't almost solely useful for barrier.

Well I voted for Shatterstar and I'm proud of it. Shatterststar is a cool character that I would like to have in clix form. I kinda figure that, yeah, he'll get made eventually, but I'd like to see him in Supernova.
You Know Iceman is gonna get another REV sooner or later, but I too am wondering where is Omega Red? (Along with other figures that haven't been made even once yet.)

Some great choices here. I really like the original x-men so I cast my vote for iceman. I would also like to see strong guy in clix form as he is a good character and could partner up with matrox. I think they could so some great thing with iceman though and he could partner up with the new danger room set of fig's!!

I think that they should make as many different X-men as possible. The iceman that was already made was very dissapointing, he looked cool, but he is weak. I also don't know many of the other characters outside of the Marvel x-men encyclopedia. If iceman was made again and had close to the same dial, then it would have been for nothing except a cool sculpt. Also, I think jubilee would have cheap energy explosion with x-man power, so that would be good for my team. But it would be good if she would live for a long time, it may not suit the character, but quite a few of the new x-men die fast. I hate that. Also, I think it would be good if she looked like in the old cartoon. It is the main way I know the character, and I hate it when there is a good character I like, but they look different than the one I remember. Yes, I know I can't stop talking.

Honestly, It was a tough call between Emma, Iceman, and Caliban. I voted for Iceman, but what I'd really want from that REV would be an Emma Frost LE from when she took over his body.
We also need a new 616 Sabretooth, possibly from the time he spent as an X-Man. The experienced version could represent him when he lost his mind and acted like an animal.
But what I really want MOST of all is a Pounceable, Brilliant Tacticianable BEAST
I want to finish my "All-New, All-Different X-Factor" team...

I want new characters too, just I really would like a new Iceman to go along with them. He should have an Ice Armor click, probably the vet, that at least can incap and running shot... maybe even 3 damage with invulnerability. Judging by some of the other characters who receive this, I think a 120 point Ice man with about 6 or 7 clcks of life would be in order. The other icemen would be more similar to the one we already have, probably somewhere inbetween.

Yeah and Emma Frost needs to start of with mind control then when she sees that isn't helping then she goes into diamond form giving her impervious and exploit weakness. A character that hasn't been made yet but is an awesome x-man would be non other than x-man himself son of cyclops and jean grey.

Cyclops: 10 Range, 3 Targets, 4 Damage, with RS, ES/D, Leadership, 7 clicks of life, 80-100 pts.
But at least he has one version that's playable (even if he's not the powerhouse he should be). Collossus doesn't have a single piece out of the seven made that even remotely reflects his capabilities. :(
Collossus: 17 Defense w/ Impervious, Charge, Superstrength, 9 Clicks, 125-150 pts.
Of course, you could just put a Collossus figure on a V Juggernaut base. ;)
Gambit really should get a new fig. Iceman too.
Storm is also extremely crappy in all her forms so far. It's like someone really hates her.
Omega Red is the big missing Clix though (unless he kills Jubes, in which case he must never ever be made, as punishment).

Storm definatly needs to be redone. Her and Magneto from the old sets are the perfect examples of "fold completely after getting hit for 2"
Ironically, those characters have more willpower than just about any mutants out there.
Also, Professor X needs to be remade with perplex, psiblast, more damage, and without mind control. He rarely reads people's thoughts without permission and straight up mind controling people almost never happens. It certainly shouldn't be his only trick.
