Quick question: Powered Core Rules. Does that mean that no powers work? im confused of exactly what that means so if someone could fill me in that would be great...cause if its numbers on numbers, no powers involved that would be AWESOME!!!

Per the wizkids event template:
Powered Core Format (all other standard rules will apply):
1) This is a 300 point Unrestricted event. Any HeroClix figure or Bystander token can be used, as well as standard objects.
2) All tactics are banned - Feats, BFC, Double-Base, Giant, & Colossal characters, Theme Teams, and Special Objects.
Additional Rules:
3) Special Powers and Traits have no effect.
4) Team abilities have no effect.
Hope that helps. Looks like regular powers work but not special ones (e.g. Deadman's Possession). Sounds neat. Good chance to break out figures with no TAs.

So if u have hypersonic that works, but if ur Hypersonic is combined with something like Phasing it doesn't work (ex: JLA Flash)?? easier way to say it, no white powers work, but all regular powers do?

Correct. In the powered core event, powers indicated by a white square (e.g. special powers) will not work.

For build purposes, no they do not. You must have 200 points of dolphin movement characters (or Namor) on your force. That is the cost w/out feats included. Of course, you can add feats to those characters just keep in mind the 10% rule is now in effect.

Well congrats to everyone who was at ATF today for the kill and keep match. It was a close match between Hector, Hobbs, Paulie, and myself. Also Josh did a great job bringing the mayhem controlling Orange Foom. Luckily I somehow got the last hit off and won the whole thing. But i really really big "great game" to Paulie who almost had it.

I can't be upset about saturday's kill and keep. In my boxes i pulled 2 SRs (Emma Frost and Time Trapper [but I did not get time trapper's card, asking anyone i know if i could somehow get a hold of one, cause that would be just dandy!!]) also I was given a Sgt. Rock LE (for losing the first match) and the NGN Supes (for getting a critical miss) which is always a plus (not the crit part...)!!
Anywho enough about me, congrats to Jebus_2099 who got the last attack on Foom and pulled off the victory (by doing nothing the entire match). And also congrats to Paulie (who should have won) and Hector (who could have won) for putting up one heck of a fight!

It would be awesome to pull a chase...but its getting traded...those sculpts look like carp!!! it looks like jessica drew just vomited on her self...and i think we have enough sue storms...so if i get one i am willing to trade it right away...
The sculpts are ####. Plain and simple. That is why I'm only trading for 2 PM and IF Duo's so I can make them look like what the original scluptor intended and put that Iron Fist on the common one.

Those are some great sculpts of Powerman and Iron Fist. I would have much rather they keep they wall in it but thats WK for you. On the other hand i would never like to see a Cable Deadpool duo clix, actually i would rather see a Cable and Cyclops duo fig.
On another note congrats to all that came to A+ tonight. That means Paulie, Hector, Joe, and myself. I was lucky enough to not only go 3-0 but also to not have any of my figures knocked out, not that they didn't try and almost do it themselves.
I would like to thank all of those who came out to All Things Fun! on Wednesday for the release event, especially those who drove an hour plus. It was a lot of fun getting to play again. This looks to be a great set for sealed, can't wait until Sunday!

Feels like it's been forever, but I'm glad I finally got to get out for a tournament at ATF. I had a great time getting to play you again, Toteman--it's been a while, huh? I'm trying to get out sunday, too, if I can scrape together the money.
And for anyone out there lamenting the fact they didn't get to beat Randy yesterday, have no fear--I'm bringing some clix to the hospital when I visit him so I'll beat him there for all of you. Not too badly, though, he has a bad ticker. (Hey, I've known him since I was 5, I'm allowed to make those jokes.)

Hey everybody, just wanted to let you know Randy's doing great and he'll be discharged today. He tells me he'll be coming out for the tournament sunday. He didn't explicitly say it, but I'm pretty sure he also wanted me to brag for him about the Jessica Drew he pulled from a booster Tagi randomly bought him while he was in the hospital. What a jerk.
Oh, and by the way--those little hospital tables can only fit a clix map if you fold it into a third.
