My venue has been running pretty well lately and more regular players show up on a weekly basis now. Wondering if anyone in Markham area or close by Makrham would be interested in joining the rest of us.

Heroes World is over at Kennedy and Highway 7, North-West Side of the intersection.

We play weekly on Wednesdays, and sometimes extend into Thursdays and on occasion Saturdays. In fact we'll be holding an Unrestricted tourney on Saturday the 29th!

Wondered how long it would take till someone posted about a GTA area- even if in your case that is MARKHAM (North of Scarberia!), not TTC accessable.
You work at Heroes-world or just promoting?- curious. We have been there once.

I'm the new judge there now. Well it is TTC accessible in the sense that you can take the TTC that travels on Steeles then switch to YRT for Kennedy.

I would attend your 29th game but have made plans out of town that weekend.

All information about the tournaments are listed on Heroes-World's forum if you wanna take a look. I usually show up around 2-3 in the afternoon on Wednesdays then play till 9 or so. Some players are there much earlier than I am.

unfortunately my work schedule would not allow for a 2-3 start--but the Saturdays look very interesting.

On wednesdays we're open till 9 pm and Thursdays open til 8.

Yes, New Guy night will be on October 21st.

okay. How does one qualify for a new guy night iron man?

The "new guy" can either be new to the game or a player that has not participated in a Wizkids sanctioned Heroclix event within the past 6 months. So all you do is bring someone that qualifies for that and teach them the game and do some casual gaming. Also come meet some of our existing players and what not, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

New Guy night is not a tournament, it's casual play so you can bring whatever point teams to try them out if you wish!

Yeah, we're waiting till Wizkids replies to us on whether or not they'll send us another batch before we decide how we'll distribute the figures.

Both the venue and I have sent in requests to get more NGN but they haven't replied yet. What we have done as an alternative was send one of our players and talk to another venue for extra pieces. THey should be in this Saturday and that's when we'll hand them out.
