Is it really censored? The last roast I watched on CC was completely uncensored. There were little warnings at the end of every commercial break, but uncensored nonetheless.

Central time? Bah, isn't that just a lame version of EST?
hehe..
But seriously, doesn't that change or something throughout the year?
That's Mountain Time. :P

They cut out whole parts of, if not all of some segments for TV, so what they show isn't censored I don't think, but they don't show it all. They show...what like an hour on TV? The DVD roast is about half an hour longer.

Well, what did you expect? Updates on recent games? :ermm:
I sure don't want to know who any of the people we're waiting on are. You'd think by round 5 they'd have figured out how to give him at least a top 3, especially after the weekend of nothing.

One would think, yeah. But, apparently, we would have all thought wrong.
I know that I've hit at least three hitches in my draft plan (Talia, Luthor, and Dr. Light), and I always had other characters in mind to draft if those fell through. And, when TMNT99 would send me the dreaded PM of 'And if [xxxxx] is gone ... ?' I could just reply, 'Just go on with the next pick.'
See? Easy.
It's going to get really old if these guys play their games at this pace, too. ;)

This is no good. I am done drafting, but still recheck the forum every hour hoping for exciting news. BRING ON THE TRADES!
BRING ON THE TRADES!
I'd go for that. Can we start posting the trades that we know are going to occur so that we can start seeing how teams are shaping up? Or, would that spoil the suspense and surprises of the post-draft, pre-game time period?

Oh yeah ... ? Well, I'm just two degrees from Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Tilly, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Christopher Walken, Isla Fisher, and most importantly Rachel McAdams (which makes me three degrees from Scarlett Johansson).
Rachel McAdams. Nicely done. May I ask how?
Yeah I pm Turtle my top 5 picks with No. 1 being the priority and then on down...if like Turtle said, the same 5 figs are being chosen over and over..go with your top 10...*shrug* guess people just don't like to think ahead too too much...

Yeah, I have no idea who is slowing us down, but there is no question at all as to who ISN'T. I think it's safe to say that Jacin, Tanis, Stepper, Cur, MSU, and CoyoteJack are NOT among those that are making us wait.

During trade conversations with a player, a question has come up. Can we just straight out sell another player a figure, no trade involved?
Really looking forward to trading, I'm finding setting up trades to be even more exciting than drafting.

do you mean sell for recruitment points? Yeah you can do that...but you'd only be able to use the recruitment points in the midseason draft...

From this other thread (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2170136) asking the same question:
....The points you have (the number beside your green bar) are not "Rep Points".
They are "Power Points". You see, when someone REPs someone, the amount of REP points they gain is however many Power Points the person has. You usually REP someone for saying something witty, helpful, or nice.
So if you REP'd me, My REP points total would increase by 2. If I did the same for you, yours would increase by 6. Check your User CP/Profile to check how much REP you have.
-Every 100 REP points you gain nets you another green bar and your Power Points increases by 1.
-Every year you've been on HCR gives you another Power Point.
-Every 1000 posts you've made gives you another Power Point.
The system is designed this way so the people with the most "Power Points" can influence a person's REP the most. This is working on the principle that people with more REP (green bars) should be more 'trusted' members of the forum anyway, since they've invested in the forum with posts, time spent, and with good posts that give them REP.
Hope it helps.
EDIT: Perhaps a Mod should make a sticky-d thread outlining the REP system for easy reference?

Heck yeah! I just happened to love Scarlett and the Baroness the best because they were so beeyotchy. I had Joes. And they always took on the Ewok village.
I would take string and pretend they were zip lines (I was an imaginative child...I used bent paperclips and tape to make it work...the Joes would zip into the ewok village, the tanks would take on the Falcon and the speeder bikes that exploded when you pushed that button on the back of the bike). I also used my baby sister's building blocks to make the Joe's base. My sister then would come in all godzilla like and destroy my army camp and teeth on one of my figures. :disappoin
My parents would come in to the living room and there I was in the middle of this string entanglement, my cousin and I having the Joes and Star Wars figures dueling...

String Entanglement - when you take string and string it from one side of the room to the other. You tie it to tables and book shelves and lamps and TVs and high chairs. WHen you walk into the room, you cannot get to the child nor the Ewok Village because of all the string tied everywhere, especially around the expensive statues on the book shelf.
Dude, there's nothing wrong with pound puppies. They were so damn cute!!!
Even MY DOG thinks they're adorable. I gave her one to play with, and she takes it everywhere with her now. She doesn't chew on it, she just picks it up and curls up around it on the floor.

AAAAAAAHh you combined Star wars with GI joe's..... but without the swivel arm battle grip how could the ewoks compete, plus there was no real landing room on the aircraft carrier (yes I still have mine) for the falcon and all those nifty Joe Jets. they finally put out a decent looking scarlet in the last few years not that butchy one from the orginal line
I did not have the carrier...I had a cardboard box that we wrote "plane" on....shoe boxes had so many uses as a child!
I remember the butch Scarlet. And wasn;t there a set of twins, one of them had a scar on their cheek? I always played with them as well...
I had two types of 80's/early 90's toys.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and M.A.S.K
I have since grown to wish I had been into Transformers as well. Man, those are cool.

My problem with transformers is that I never knew how to put them back together!! Not the complicated ones like Prime and Grimlok.
I did have all the Dinobots though....I was lucky to have a male cousin 2 months older than me. We would share our toys so we got to play with a LOT of stuff. Our parents would know what the others were getting so there weren't any duplicates (except for Star Wars...I think that was because our parents were huge Star Wars geeks and they couldn't decide who got what...).

All the offers thus far have been for CD Le's I still need and Sinister LE's which I'm worried about too much.
If you had some older LE's off my list, I'd trade him on a more fair market value (instead of that 3 LE craziness)
I used to combine Star Wars/GI Joes and the Secret Wars Marvel figures. THey were bigger, but they were Super heros so they should be. Sadly Thundercats were much to big. They only got to play with He-Man.

Ahh...the days!
In Nebraska we had a ravine at the end of the street where all the runoff from the rain went into the cornfield. It looked like a mini Grand Canyon, we'd have campaigns down there...Swinglines, parachutes, rock bombs...jets tanks...Tunnel Rat always won though. Tunnel Rat, Airtight, Barbeque, Jinx, and Spirit were the badasses of our wars...
Never mixed them with Star Wars...the articulation never made it a fair fight.
I liked Iron Hide. Always a sucker for the hard asses
Oh, and Shockwave owns all. Period. Giant purple guns > cars and planes.

How could I forget, that was the very first toy I collected. He-Man!
But I was starting to be of "Action Figure Age" when He-Man was almost over, so I can't recall who I had and who I didn't have. I remember I had Cringer/BattleCat.

G.I. Joes...I lost most of mine in a horrible freak Tornado occurance. We were playing in the ravine and the sirens went off...thing just came out of nowhere, we freaked grabbed who we could and ran....searched for weeks in the cornfield for the rest of the guys, but only saved a few.
TMNT: Had all of the original Turtles, Splinter, Shredder...then they started making "Pizza Delivery Michaelangelo" and I bailed. I sold them at a garage sale when I was 14 and made some pretty serious dough.
Transformers: I also have some of these guys.

I forgot about the water wars (best thing about Joes...they were fine in the water!).
I had one of those remote control cars (I had two - a Jeep and a Hovercraft). So I would go out to the pond and the stream and do amphibious attacks. The Star Wars guys never went outside though...he Joes were always outside yet the Star Wars guys stayed indoors...huh?
When I was younger I wanted a parachute that worked....we did so many experiments looking for the right Joe Parachute (many a Joe died in those initial tests....we salute them for their bravery and innovation). Napkins, paper towels, plastic bags of various sizes, balloons...I think we finally used old birthday mylar balloons.

I know your pain, Clixs and comics and the occasional new Gi Joe (fortuneatly the new 3 3/4 inch ones come out so slow that I can sneak them in from time to time)
It always bugged me that Starscream and Cobra Commander had the same annoying voice. I don't know why though...
Anyone get the Transformer's action masters? You know, the transformers that didn't transform. That made sense....they were much eaiser to play with though...
From the cartoon, it was Starscream...I think it was because in the movie he betrayed megatron before the body was cold. I loved it! I had all the Dinobots though....and then had the guys that were like Voltron that made one giant Transformer...whomever they were.
(never had Voltron but watched it every day)
I loved the boombox guy! I had him. I also liked Bumblebee...he was my first transfomer! I use to carry him around in my pocket at school (we weren't allowed toys so I was being all rebellious and whatnot).
How could I forget about He-Man! I still have those with Greyskull (even though I never had the Sorceror). My sister had She-Ra and demanded that we play together even though my Teela and Evil-Lyn could knock the snot out of the entire She-Ra army. Although Hordak was bad ###. Skeletor was a chump...Hordak was da man!

Originally Xamot only had a pink scar on his left cheek. After the toys came out this was still the case for a while, then they decided to give Tomax a scar as well but that never carried over into the comics or cartoon. :)
Zartan was the leader of the Dreadnaughts. he had Black things on his face in the same shape as Spider-Man's eyes, and a brown hood.

Yeah Stalker kinda got hosed in terms of the show.
And whats the deal with them completely replacing Roadblock in all this new stuff with heavy Duty. Roadblock is the original people's choice for bad ### bald black guy aka Samuel L Jackson.

Can we stop talking Joes and start talking drafts? Or announcing trades that have been made? Or something? :)

I love how they were America's Highly trained special mission force... but they couldn't hit S*&%$ with their snowjob - laser rifles
Like the A-Team! They couldn't hit anything.

Good point, I forgot what thread we were in. :p
Now that some of us have finished drafting, can we PM our Feat choices, or will that melt your brain?
Sure, but only if you're 100% done with drafting.
And you have no out of the gates trades in the works.
Last season I assigned feats to four teams based on their intials teams, then they traded half their team away and complained that their feat didn't really work anymore.

Except in the first episodes/movie. :) You'll see no parachutes. Even in the hang-glider chase when the Cobra's are after Snake Eyes when he escapes, one of the Cobra's hits a cliff and falls out of his glider harness. heh ehh
um that was Duke, Snake-eyes didn't get captured till the revenge of cobra with the weather dominator. and that cobra he lived NOONE died in the cartoon, they repeat them on G4 channel
[QUOTE=JacinB]Can we stop talking Joes...QUOTE]
Yeah he's right people...Man! The nerve!
JacinB has got a point...let's talk about Transformers!!! Yeah!!! ;) hehehe

That's the one! Been a looooong time since I saw it.
If he lived, he ain't happy. Hitting a cliff at high-speed, only to plummet to the ground is NOT a good day. I'll have to check out the G4 listings!
As for the Team feat, we choose three members of the team and petition for a team Feat explaining why it would befit them?
Can we stop talking Joes and start talking about how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles very rarely featured in the cartoon any of the supporting cast that was made into action figure form? Why couldn't we see a Metalhead episode? Or an episdoe with Ace Duck? :)
I have to agree with this.
I have to agree with this.
Who? Well they wanted to make the mulah!
I have to agree with this.
Oh yeah...and GI Joe did the same thing...the cartoon couldn't keep up with the toy line...after the line with Leatherneck, Dial Tone, and Lowlight, they had a bunch of figs that weren't in the show....
As a side note...;)
I think Marvel's going to be drafting way longer than DC...a lot of those teams still have TONS of points! Marvel needs some more higher point figs...;)
Okay now back to our regular scheduled 80s nostalgia talk show...;)

No, send in your top 3 choices for a feat that your team (or at least some) can use.
For instance, someone might suggest
Pounce (because they have 4 members that qualify)
Stunning Blow (because they have 2 members that qualify)
Flashbang (because they have 2 members that qualify)
I'll look at your team, see what feat would be best for your team (thematically and pre-req wise) and then decide.
75% of the time you'll get one of your suggestions, but sometimes Vance and I will give you something that works better for your team.
Like last year we gave the Ultimates Extended Range.
They gripped about it at first, but found that with their TA is what quite useful.
Nano-bots, ICWO, Protected, Lazarus Pitt all will not be given as Team Feat. So don't ask.

Thanks Turtle! I mis-read that before. I was thinking you had to have three characters to qualify the feat choice. heh
Gives me something to think about while the Marvel draft drags on.

Should I also include my "SPECIAL OBJECT" does it have to be theme??
I can't have Nanobots? But, all but one of my team members could qualify for it!
And, everyone knows that the only way the Secret Six survived the Society's assault on the House of Secrets was because of the tiny little robots they had in their blood stream repairing the damage done to them (well, except Parademon). I mean, that's what saved Deadshot and Cheshire after Deathstroke shot 'em up.
And, they were also all 'In Contact with Mockingbird', and the 'In Contact with Oracle' card is as close as I can get to replicating that in game-play.
Hey, I did not find it useful for my team ability, it worked Once :)

And, besides that, my team sucks and using this kind of 'cheese' is the only way I might have a chance of pulling out a win now and then. :)

I thought I remeber it working twice at least.
Just set me up for the same one as last year's, Turtle.
Strangely enough, the games I used it were the games I won.....

We should make that feat only available for Longshot, Domino, and Jinx.

That's a feat you'd have to show your character using some sort of element of luck.
Like Domino, Longshot..
Maybe Spider-man or Daredevil who use their wits a lot to get out of jams.
But it can't be requested unfortunately, because it's not on the Wizkids website yet.

But, it has been released. For more than a month.

But it only works for ONE die roll...I don't think it'd help you much Step. ;) hehehehehe...

100% agree.
Except for the waiting for WK to get it up. 'Cuz I doubt they'll ever have it up there.

Meh, I've used it on some 7 rolls just to get a critical hit. It works pretty well if you want a specific die roll.

Firk! Ding!! Blast!!!
I just requested it as my team feat. It would represent a teammate benefiting from Longshot's luck.

Yeah but after you use it once, it gets burnt up just like Protected.....

Hey, that's 5 points for increasing your chances at getting a crit hit. That's ALMOST an essential for hitting KC Flash or KC GL. So it's totally worth it, IMHO.

That's true..that's true...
Okay I want Lucky break too!!! ;)
I want, in this order:
1) Auto Regen
2) Auto Regen
3) Auto Regen

I think I have my three Team Feat picks ready. Just have to wait until this round of drafting is over. :)
By the way, is there only one of each feat available in all of the league? Or can more than one team have the same Team Feat?
Sinister and Sabretooth are mighty interested in that tasty auto-regen too...

there can be multiples of the same feat in the league...
I have mine ready...even with the next set of picks...it won't really change it that much...
Cmon guys, some of us would really like to start playing soon.......:(

I'd put up the next DC round, but I have a DC player who needs to get back to me.
I just can't understand how it can be so bloody complicated to send in draft picks on time, it's not exactly rocket science is it?

Hey, to the players defense, he had listed 4 characters, they just are all taken.
