Come now, a classic Steve Martin 80s comedy, and no one has seen it. For shame on you all. :)

OK then, I guess Im the only one on HCR thats seen this Steve Martin 80s comedy, so Ill chime in and save this from a 0 overall member rating, I think. :)

Personally, I rate this up there with some of my favorite slapstick comedies of all time. Not that its in the class of say Airplane, Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein, but still a very funny and enjoyable film nonetheless.

Brilliant neurosurgeon finds love after his wife dies with a cold hearted, man eating b!tch, out to get him for all hes worth. In time he eventually falls out of love with her, and in love with a disembodied brain in a jar. (you heard that right) He then searches for a sexy new body to put this brain inside, something that doesnt sit well with his current, and very evil, wife.

As expected, wackiness and hilarty ensure throughout this very funny slaptick film, from Steve Martins impossible to pronouce last name, to Merv Griffin being revealed as a serial killer, to our hero finally getting a well deserved body for the love of his life (remember this is a brain in a jar), only to find out she kept alittle secret from him until now.

Great film, if youre into slapstick comedies this is a Must See for you.
