So, you are tested on by the US government to become the new Super Soldier. You are also granted and grafter an Adamantium/Vibranium weapon...So choose the weapon too!

Me? Well the UK governement are checking me out.


My body responds well to the serum, granting me a lot of jumping and agility and durability, just not too great on the strength aspect. It also grants me slight Regen. So I get forged a Vibranium/Adamantium Arm Guard, with Rule3 Logos, Ill-Rama signs and witty quotes engraved.

Once enhanced by the serum to peak physical condition, my modus operandi would be to begin each engagement covertly, putting plans in motion against the enemy before they even know that I'm there. I start with Outwit for my pre-planning, as I'd always have a strategy to neutralise the most critical threat first. However, I'm ready to adapt my plans to the quickly-changing circumstances of conflict, thus a click of Probability Control to represent the many contingencies and alternatives that I've considered, as well as my ability to respond appropriately to the unexpected.

However, I don't stay in the shadows much longer. I've got exceptional speed and agility, using leap/Climb to move across the battlefield without being stopped by opponents, and gain a click of mid-dial Defend to protect my team-mates who have already borne the brunt of the combat. But when things start to get desperate, I focus on the offensive, striking hard and fast - first with unpredictable strikes while I quickly gauge my opponent, then right at his weaknesses.

My final click shows me "playing dead" - either lying low and then hitting my opponent hard when he least expects it, or relying on my body's natural healing abilities to allow me to recover.

The serum heightened my vision, endurance and senses, but not my strength or defense really. So I use what I have to my advantage, I became a sniper. I sneak onto the feild without anyone noticing and start picking off targets(Stealth and RCE) I can easily move for long distances without getting tired(High movement values). Since my senses were heightened, I can hear when people are close, so I start putting up cover to cloak myself(Smoke Cloud). Perplex is just me being prepared for the worst. If anyone does find me, I get the hell out of there, trying to dodge what they throw at me and trying anything to get them off my tail(Super senses, leap climb, outwit). My trusty sidekick and best friend, my sniper rifle, is made of adimantium, and vibranium.

This one's me right out of training. At first, I'm all about moving into position, observing my targets and figuring out how to achieve whatever mission I've been sent on. I'm constantly plotting and watching my back, which combined with the increase in agility granted by the Super-Soldier Serum, means I can easily avoid even the best assassin's sneak attack. Once it's necessary, my battle training kicks in and I become a close-combat monster, swinging punches as fast as I can and moving where I need to be. Again, thanks to the serum and the extensive training I've been put through, I have almost endless endurance and increased strength. If an opponent somehow manages to hurt me, I can rush out of battle and allow my increased healing ability to get me back into the game quickly.

This is after a few years of service. I've moved up in the ranks (and shed that awful codename given by my original superiors), and now I'm more of a special ops fighter than a covert agent. At the same time, I use less brute strength and more agility and finesse. I'm much more experienced in hand-to-hand combat, have learned a more extensive range of weapons and firearms, and have more knowledge of the human mind and body, which should explain all of the upgrades to the dial.

After several years of honorable service, I discover that, rather than serving my country as I thought, I've actually been doing the bidding of a secret underground cabal that has infiltrated even the highest levels of government. My response? To wipe them out. I've gone MIA on my last official mission, instead choosing to use a combination of my CIA covert ops skills and my special ops training to infiltrate this group and take them ouit from the inside. I received Uncanny, Amazing, Incredible reflexes. Not too terribly fast at a sprint, but my ability to maneuver around opponents is represented by Hypersonic Speed and a range of 2 with 3 targets. Mid-dial I "slow down" and concentrate on incapping my opponents. After taking too much damage I switch to escape mode and concentrate on avoiding hindering terrain and nimbly scaling up walls ala Jackie Chan with Leap/Climb. The Avengers ability represents my movement, but it can also be T-bolted if my superiors outfit me with different equipment.

My high attack and defense is because of my ability to anticipate my opponents' moves and react accordingly.

My job is to root out terrorists and bring them to justice. Since they are mostly "normals", my Vibranium/Adamantium "weapon" is a purely defensive shield that can block bullets and absorb the energy from explosions. My intensive combat training takes care of the offense. And if I have to retreat, I've got a squad of Marines as back up. :devious:

I'd have super-enhanced reflexes, so high defense and attack, along with my Ultra-Patriot-Pistols. I'd have martial arts and armor piercing bullets, (EW and PB). I'd start out as an inspirational figure, but as soon as it gets rough, switch into my good ol' American butt kicking mode. SHIELD because the Marvel universe is more similar to the real one than DC.

The super soldier serum was a dud untill they tried it on me. Unfortunately/fortunately it unlocked my latent mutant abilities to an exponential degree. The facility I was created at is destroyed by a radical feminist organization that's 'upset' that a male was 'chosen' to be the next national super hero. Meaning the experiment could never be completed, and my body is in a state of flux untill it can eventually adapt to the massive power coursing through it. I am massively powerful, but can't control my strength. My weapon/item is an Adamantium/Vibranium bastard sword.

My experienced would be slightly more balanced dial wise (perhaps more bell curve in nature, or slightly like Sentry/KC Superman), and my vet would be a standard brick progression with an end dial upswing.

To start my career I work with any heroic group I can, then move into the Xmen to help me learn to use my abilities, then graduate to Avengers.

Unfortunetly, I was deemed a failure, as the doctors claim that I'm "unstable."

I got annoyed, and I killed them all. Now they're trying to kill me. It doesn't matter. I'm omnipotent.

The day Phillip was bon should be a day of praise. His very presence seems to make people feel better-but that is because he has he ability to heal people with with touch. Phillip fought in WWI, and was drafted for the original Weapon X project, (before wolverine was tested) almost exactly wike the super-soldier test. The test, instead of using adamantium inside the body, tested a sort of super-soldier serum. His healing helped him overcome the deadly chemicals that were used in the experiment, but horribly difgured him. He went ino hiding, and it is unknown why he is still alive and young after almost 100 years, but its believed his healing allows him to live. He has A pair of Adamantium/vibraium gauntlets he uses to battle with. He has currently enlisted in the defenders, he apparently has a feud with Steve rodgers for unknown reasons.

I don't have a story other than, "I'm a volunteer. I just do what they tell me." The Second World War was finally over and both sides had suffered major casualties. Quite possibly the biggest loss for the Allies was that of their super soldier, Steve Rodgers aka Captain America who was KIA, his death a mystery. With the world seemingly at peace, a secret group of SHIELD scientists reactivated research on a super soldier serum. Before government funding was cut on the project and the feds confiscated their work, the scientists were able to perfect only one vial of the formula. They hid this vial, waiting for the perfect time to use it....

....With the stunning rise of Communism shortly after WWII America was once again active in defending capitalism and the free world. When the war in Vietnam broke out, Nick Fury the head of SHIELD who was the only person besides the scientists who knew of the second super soldier serum, demanded that it be used. A young SHIELD agent, Alex Steele, was to be the test subject. The young man was an outstanding athlete, an All-American athlete, as sharp as a tack, and quick with a joke. The serum worked just as it had nearly 30 years ago. Not only were Alex's physical capabilities functioning at peak levels, he was also able to heal himself quickly. Fitting Alex with an updated Captain America outfit, and equipping him with a vibranium/adamantium fiber grappling hook/lasso, Alex became the Capitalist!

Wow, I love the responses.
I have to say this one is something Ive thought about alot before.

I'm framed for murder, and taken to a secret prison complex in New Mexico where I am experimented on. The first thing I lose is my memory, I don't remember anything from befor I went to prison, and so through guilt, thinking I muredered someone, I follow orders. My Weapon is a Vibranium/Adamantium Ashandarei(From Wheel of Time).
I also have a large number of throwing blades, and a pair of hand crossbows with a variety of trick bolts.
The Serum enhances my strengths immensley.
I am faster, stronger, tougher, and harder to hit.
My toughnes and agility are enhanced farther because they are my existing strengths.

Here's the idea. The serum doesn't seem to have affected me much at first, although I am a bit quicker and more agile.

As I get into combat though it becomes quite apparent that I have indeed been enhanced. My change is almost Hulk-like as I get stronger as I get madder, but the catch is that my rage is also broadcast empathically and hurts anyone in my immediate vicinity (Poison). The Mystic TA shows how anyone who attacks me generates pyschic feedback from my Empathic powers. As I wear down I use more of my military training to subdue my opponents until I have to retreat and rest/heal.

My Adamantium/Vibranium weapon is a Bo Staff which gives me a short range and has 2 fan-like flaps that make a complete circle to shield me when the rage is done.

Taken in by the government after being orphaned, young E13 was trained and experiemented upon in order to become the greatest special agent ever. With an enhanced strength, he's capable of carrying heavy loads, but is still under superhuman levels. He's consistantly fast, thanks to a nanobot enhanced physiology. He even has had random information downloaded into his brain, that he will subconciously use in a fight (the PC). He likes using piercing rounds, desiged to take on superhuman foes. When things get desperate, he pulls out all the stops and hits hardest.

Unknown to most, there was a back-up super-soldier experiment in case cap didn't make it. Designed to be the ultimate fighter in close combat, and a leader of troops in WWII, Capt Anonymous is equipped with the same design of shield as capt America. Since capt America was the better super soldier, I was cast aside into the shadows. I then became a fill in when cap was out. First I charge into battle finding my enemies flaws, then I pull out my expert combat skills. After I have defeated that enemy, I regroup my troops and run in using my shield for cover. When I'm on my last breath, I pull a capt America with the usual ending powers.

Kite-Man was assigned to "Project Gladiator," a research program under the auspices of SHIELD, which was aimed at recreating the lost "super-soldier" serum that had spawned Captain America during World War II.

Suspecting his colleagues were AIM spies, Kite-Man had earlier destroyed his notes and injected himself with the only existing sample of his Super Soldier serum, and fled into the nearby swamp. The substance of Kite-Man's body was eaten away and replaced by vegetable matter. Though he mimics the form of humanity to a large extent, he can no longer be considered human. He retains Kite-Man's soul, and rudimentary vestiges of Kite-Man's intellect, but cannot be said to be intelligent in any meaningful sense.

Well, HYDRA injected me with their own serum. One that lies dormant until activated by the US Government's own serum. I infiltrated the US Super-Soldier program, and voila! When I'm injected with the serum, I break people and get out of there. My real trademark is the poison I secrete from my hands, which roots the opponent to the ground and feeds acid into their bloodstream. High-five homeland security!

I woke up one day and I had been kidnapped by the U.S. government. I was less that surprised, I mean just the day before, I had broken a record, throwing a discus 5,280 feet. They would want my strength for themselves. I got up off the hospital bed. I could barely move, I moved an arm and then gently clapped my hands together, they clanged. Those bastards had coated my bones with metal, did they have any idea what that would do to my immune system. I looked at my chart. My bones were apparently adamantium and vibranium coated, so they're unbreakable. I looked on my knuckles and saw huge potruding golf ball sized rivets of the metal. I would be able to slam my fist straight through a man's body now. And that's just what I intended to do. 400 corpses later. I was the vigilante known as Adamantine Fist. I meted out justice where others choose not to. Then I woke up in a holding cell again, but I felt the good had been drained from my heart by the governments poisons. They gave me a small platoon and dropped me in Afghanistan to find Osama. I said that they should go ahead and see what's in the cave, one of them objected, so I sent his head flying from his body with my horrid fist. The rest went on ahead, and they stepped on a land mine. Some of them were not dead, they begged for help, but the good had been drained from my heart, so I felt no desire to help them. The remaining soldier was frozen in fear, I heard an RPG fired at me, so I did the only logical thing and threw his limp body in its path (my bones are unbreakable, but I'm not) then a tank came and said it'd escort me back to my holding cell. The hell it would. I tore it open like a tin can, and then turned the driver into hamburger meat. Now I'm on the lam, until they find me again.

Straight Jacket

A hired distraction by Hydra, the unknown criminal known as Straight Jacket infiltrated the secret laboratory with a assault team where the next super soldier was to be created. In the battle, Straight Jacket injected himself out of desperation and selfishness. His body reacted violently to the serum throwing him against a stone wall causing a concussion which took him out of action for the remainder of the battle. The secret lab was destroyed by the assault team leaving no trace of the serum or the research that created it.

Upon awakening the claustrophobic criminal's body reacted to an intense adrenal burst which gave him raw strength. literally bursting from the heavy rock and rubble, Straight Jacket fled the scene returning to Hydra's planned meeting place.

The team had stolen several super soldier components, but no serum or plans for the serum were recovered. That was until Straight Jacket appeared. Word of the attack traveled fast and S.H.I.E.L.D. Mobilized to retrieve the stolen items. Winter Soldier tracking the movements of Shield agents also found his way to the meeting.

Still discovering his new abilities, Straight Jacket's imagination surmised that Hydra had planned for him to not survive the raid. His anger and fear surged through his body as he shook the ground finding that his brute force could be channeled into shock waves but only at the peak of his anger and paranoia. He could only see red as he shook the tiny building throwing Hydra agents in every direction. His heightened senses spun him around to witness the sky light above was being breeched by Shield agents. His worst fears realized, Straight Jacket found that his added agility allowed him to scramble over large obsticles in order to regroup.

In a cold sweat, the government coming down on top of him, he began searching for an edge, some kind of stolen weapon or device that could get him out of there. Two Vibranium bayonets encased in Adamantium slipped easily under his jacket.

Winter Soldier watched the silhouette biding his time as the meeting place filled with agents. He had found the thief of the serum, and now all he had to do was get it back from him. Winter Soldier struck first but found that his target easily evaded his martial attack. Could it be that the serum had been used on him? The sudden blur slashed at Winter Soldier's uniform startling him, knocking him to the floor.

Too tight in here, time to get out! Straight Jacket used the doorway that Winter Soldier entered from to make his escape. Able to move much faster thanks to the serum the strange criminal disappeared that night.

Once free and clear, Straight Jacket fled the United States for Eastern Europe. He discovered that his new abilities aided him well in petty crimes and robberies. His fears and delusions still haunted him, but he always seemed to escape.

His exploits caught the attention of a Doom Bot programmed to act and think like Doom. The two paired up and stole valuable components for a trans dimensional machine that would allow travel into Mephisto's realm. The crimes in Europe once again caught Winter Soldier's attention.

Infiltrating the lair, Winter Soldier under assassination orders destroyed the Doom Bot and met Straight Jacket in combat once again. The plans for the dimensional machine in ruins and the sudden shock that he really wasn't working with Dr. Doom, Straight Jacket became determined to kill Winter Soldier. Dipping his bayonet in poison he closed in on Winter Soldier, only to have the agent evade his strike and stun him. The sudden destruction of the Doom Bot sent several Doom Bots to the location and Winter Soldier was forced to flee.

Straight Jacket awoke in Latveria at the feet of Doom, who has a plan for a simple subject injected with the super serum.
So that is where Vet. Straight Jacket is today. He's a pawn of Doom that hates Winter Soldier, and his own delusions caused by a concussion set off an adrenal version of the serum's abilities. Here's his dial.

Also, I added shape change cause of the adrenal fall that allows him to escape the situation by actually returning to his thieving size.

Doh, I forgot about the PC clicks. Straight Jacket is a lunatic. He sees things that aren't really there during his adrenal rages, but his mind is active enough to actually find the real truth. So, anything PC'd by Straight jacket is something he just made up and the next result is the actual event happening.
