In many WW Chicago teams, people had Armor Piercing X2....does that mean 2 damage go through, one per card???

That's pretty crazy if it does!

First of all, you can only have one copy of any given feat per character. You can have multiple APs on your force, but they have to be on different characters.

Even if you could stack feats, in the case of Armour Piercing it would have no effect. It prevents damage from being reduced below one... doing that twice wouldn't give you any additional effect (unlike the Armour Wars BFC - having two of those in play is cumulative).

Yeah, totally not legal on 1 character. Do you think anyone wouldn't pay 50 points to have all 5 of Superman's damage be unreducable? I know I would. Or I'd just push V. Darkseid 3 times to have all 5 of his damage go thru. For 120 points less. Yeah, I think I'll do that instead.

I think what you may have been seeing is something like this:

E Mockingbird 27 x2
w/ AP 10 x2

Indicating that there were two identical characters (in this case E Mockingbird) and each one also had the Armor Piercing feat.

The only time I've seen "Double AP" is when Armor Wars is also in play. Damage is reduced initially no lower than one. And then after all reducers & such are accounted for you add an additional damage.

I like doing this with the Vet FF Hawkeye on three targets to deal six claicks all around.

That would be my guess, too.

I bet you are right:

4. Joel LaPresta (joeldad)
E Joker (Icons) with Armor Piercing (x2)
R Lockjaw (x2)
E Lockjaw
R Dr. Mid-Nite
Lian Harper bystander (x2)

Means 2 Jokers; each with AP.

thanks all! I was afraid there was something possible I had assumed was NOT!!
