ALso for transporting as well...

I use 18 spot storage containers that I get from Bunnings for most of them, and 20 pack ones for the Fantastic Forces figures [they have larger compartments in some spots for the giant and transporter figures] I then put them in there in groups of the characters [ie REV of a character per compartment]
As I'm a huge comic geek and don't like using multiples of non-generics this works out fine because I only need two or three of these containers per set.
I also use one of those containers to carry around my clix for games.
They're about 9-10 dollars per container, so not the cheapest option, and a pain in the butt to move them if I need to carry them all.
Hopefully someone else has some better suggestions.

For storage purposes, I use the multipurpose storage boxes that Mitre 10 sells. They're designed for fishing tackle or small parts, and they have compartments that can fit multiple regular figures and larger ones that fit giants and double-based figures.
I have a larger tackle box that I take to tournaments. The compartments have removable sections, so I can customise them to be as large as required. It has space for a few forces, some trades, all my feats/BFCs/bystanders, 3D objects, dice, and a couple of maps. It's my tournament "kit".

I have to file everything by some theme (we are talking HAVE TO) so I use storage boxes like most of us and also plastic drawers of various sizes and plastic boxes, many the type you get from fast food stores (sans the fast food). There were plastic boxes for baby wipes a few years ago perfect for large teams of models (like the Synister Syndicate or The Brotherhood) that I managed to build up over a period.
I keep but one of each fig (unless I make a mod) but all minions I get. Everything is labelled (except the bigger drawers of minions in zip-locked bags) some of the team boxes have pictures (many just the images from WhoClix) of models within splayed here and there after a print /laminate/cut/stick process.
I like storage. Collecting and organising storage for the Clix is almost as fun as collecting the Clix now... but that's just me. I'll zap up a picture link when I can. Then I can start collecting pictures of my collection of storage for collections of clix.
I have a small tournament "kit" (the car helps but that, I think, is cheating) but it is without trades or extra models or maps.
I found this Fishing Tackle Box, There are diffrent sizes of them, with a Number of ...Guess you would call them drawers,
The drawers are plastic container thing, that has about three or four rows, you get little Deviders that you put in, so you can have diffrent sizes...
It also has the Normal Tackle box type thing on top, which is perfect size for Dice, Cards, maps, things like that, as well as Two extra drawers. You can buy the drawers by them selfs.
They are rather Cheap...Both the Tackle Box, and the Extra Drawers. K-Mart Sells them...

I went into Bunnings and they were selling Stanley 25 compartment organisers for $10, they are deep enough for Angel from Danger room to stand in, they contain all the REVs from a set, or you can have one as a transporter for your teams.

I managed to get some cases from the local $2 shop that have 18 compartments which only cost $2.50 each... now I don't have many clix since I haven't been collecting for long and since Kmart has stopped selling them I can't find anywhere up here on the central coast that has them so I could have all my clix in about 10 of those boxes hehehe

Funnily enough, talking about this image (http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7085/1141/1600/DSC01960.jpg) the box you have your Marvel Villains #2 in is the 20 space boxes I was talking about that I use to keep my Fantastic Forces and my clixing stuff (dice, counters, feats, objects, etc) in.

I use a camera case for my travel kit. I keep all my LEs in it plus one whole team (I rotate which team is in it- at the moment it's the X-men). as well as dice, tokens, rules etc. It's metal, has sections that can be re-arracnged, and I can lock it up for securtiy when I'm travelling.
My other clix live in nice sized boxes, one team per box. Organized by TA, although T-bolts and Alphans get their own boxes. I keep the smaller teams in ziplock bags in drawers, as well as all the unofficial teams like Hellfire Club, Moloids, Marauders, etc. If a character doesn't actually belong in a team then I put them wherever they would fit best thematically.
