Nick Fury... At least the Clobberin' Time one. I don't read the Ultimates titles, so I couldn't say if the Sinister set one was or not...

Baron Strucker was in the German army in WWII....

The Punisher.

Crimson Dynamo (the XP one, Russian military scientist)
Titanium Man (Russian military)
Jack O'Lantern (I believe he was ex-military)
Sabertooth

I think Deadpool is ex-military, but I could be wrong on that.

Hal Jordan and John Stewart are former military.

Now it depends how you can interpret Military.
Are Shield members Military like Nick Fury?
Black Widow was KGB
Rocket Red are Soviet "soldiers"
Frank Castle (Punisher) was a deserter in the Marines
Adam Strange : not US army but still pretty army
The Atom served briefly in the Army
Ragman (Rory Regan) is a Vietman Vet

I can't think of more right now.

Are you sure that Punisher was a deserter ? Is this something that was uncovered since 1994 as thats the last time I collected any comics and I thought he was just an ex marine during the time I collected.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mr. Fantastic and the Thing.

And Dr. Curt Connors (the Lizard) served in Korea, where he lost his arm.

Garth Ennis' new "canon" bio had him discharged after the slaughter at firebase valley forge.

Way back when, I think technically he was a deserter, but I prefer to think he just got drafted into a war ;)
