Played the MOST games in 2006 AND won tons of tourneys AND remember HE USUALLY doesn't play WED nights dahil JUDGE sya. PROBABLY LOST lots of fig b'coz he couldnt keep track of all the figs HE LOANS on wed nights. A great guy. Someone to EMULATE, except his pedophile activities.

I promised Cons and some veteran players I'll bring this back. Since, the Nationals is back. I think this would be the BEST time to bring back the Heroclix Rankings.

The GAME has changes since the LAST rankings and the Heroclix Rankings will also undergo changes. The method used in the PREVIOUS years was similar to the ELO rankings of chess. It will still be BASED on head-to-head MATCH UP (rather than tourney victories) BUT will be greatly simplified (details later).

As much as I would like to start by continuing with the LAST ranking. I think it would be better if we started FRESH ... sort of. All the players will be classified into FOUR groups.

The LEGENDS (you know who you are) will have initial rankings of 1600. This is reflective of their status in the game and basically this is where the rankings of this player were anyway since the last heroclix ranking.

The VETERANS will have an initial ranking of 1400. This player have played for a while. They may not be pioneers of the game but have kept the tradition of the game.

The JUNIORS will have an initial ranking of 1200. This player has a few years under his belt OR have played sporadically for the past few year.

The NEWBIES will have an initial ranking of 1000. This player has just probably started this year or less.

The RANKINGS will rise and fall BASED on how you FARE against your OPPONENTS. You GET MORE points for WINNING against HIGHER rank players and LESS for beating on LOWER RANKED players. LOSING against lower RANKED player will also MEAN you LOSE more points.
