Dang. Finally the BFC selection bites me in the butt. Though I suppose Vance isn't happy about what this means for his Force Field.

Yep, the overpass is elevated. Here's the full FAQ for the map. And good luck, Vance!

Fantasy League Map Interpretation

Heroix 1(the over pass) The H-1 section will be used to explain. It will be the same for the other three 'stair-sections' as well.

1) H-1 will be considered the top part of the 'stairs' and will be considered an elevated space.

2) H-1 is adjacent to both the I-1 and I-2 elevated squares as well the G-1, G-2, and H-2 grounded squares.

3) You can not move from H-2 to I-1(or vice versa), H-1 is the only way to change elevation.

The spaces Q-16 and Q-17 will be considered elevated hindering.

2. Jesse will run to Q9, attack the Omac, then run back to N6. 10 on a 17. Roll is (6,5) for 11. Shoulda perplexed damage. Oh well. Omac takes 1, which is reduced by toughness, then increased by Armor Wars for 1 total..

1. GL will RS up 1 to B9 and shoot at Persuader. (pretty sure that's LoS. Let me know if you disagree and I'll redo). 12 on a 16 + 1 for terrain. Roll is (5,3) for an 8 hit. Persuader takes 3 -2 for invuln +1 from the BFC for 2 total.

2. Ch'p will put up a barrier in D7, D8, C9 and B10

Jesse and Plas will wait.

2. Jesse will run up to I13, attack the Empress, then run back to D10. 9 on a 16. Roll is (6,1) for 7. Barely hits. Empress takes 2 -2 for invuln +1 from the BFC for 1 total. Since I only rolled a 7 both GL and Plas get ASTs for that.

3. Ch'p pushes to move over to C9.

Never thought I'd play a game where four outwits in a turn didn't mean a hill of beans. :laugh:

FWIW, I don't think GL would have got an AST on the last turn. The BFC pretty much guaranteed damage was going to be done, so the perplex on damage wouldn't have been necessary for the attack.

Yeah you're right on GL. In this case it didn't actually add any damage so no AST. I was thinking for some reason that the BFC added its one before damage reducers not after. So I thought I needed to up her damage to 2 in order to hurt empress. Was wrong though so no AST.

Free: GL will perplex his attack up to an 11. (with the luck I had last season you'll notice me perples attack a lot more than damage.)

1. GL will RS up one to C10 and shoot at the Empress. 11 on a 16. Roll is
(4,1) for 5. Just barely a hit. Empress takes 3 - 1 for toughness + 1 for the BFC for 3 total.

The rest clear.

Ah, man. I hadn't stuck around for your post. I'll go ahead and post the stats anyhow. It'll save us some time in the long run, particularly when I'm at work. However long the match goes from here, anyway. *gulp*

What's funny about the CR thing is I originally designed the turn without considering it. I hit "preview" and then noticed it might play a factor. Wound up changing my turn completely.

Free: The OMAV was outwitting GL's perplex so he has it back now. He'll perplex up Jesse's damage to a 2.

2. Jesse will attack the Battlesuit. 8 on a 13. Roll is (6,3) for 9. Battlesuit takes 2.

Free action - Persuader outwits Defend on Ch'p

1. Intergant Agent (pushing) attacks Jesse Quick. 7 AV on a 15 DV. The Roll is 5+3 + 8 for the hit. The Super Senses roll is a 4. Jesse takes 1 damage. IG Agent takes push damage, IG gets a SA and Persuader gets an AST for getting rid of the defend.

Free action - Emerald Empress outwits ESD on Jesse Quick

2. Empress attacks Jesse Quick. 7 AV on a 15 DV. The roll is 6+3 = 9 for 2 damage. I'm assuming that would be another AST for the Persuader since that's another hit that wouldn't have been made without Defend being Outwit. I'll double check that. And of course, EE gets an SA.

3. Persuader moves to J-12, which FWIW, gives Ch'p back his defend.

Glad you could get at least some stats :-)

1. Jesse will push and use Flurry to finish off the Battlesuit. 6 on a 12. Roll is (3,3) for 6. Hits. Battlesuit takes 1 and is KOed. There's no other target so Jesse can't use her 2nd flurry attack. Jesse takes 1 from the push and is KOed. As the last to hit her the Empress gets the KO.

2. Plastic Man moves over to B10.

Free: Plas perplexes GL's attack up to an 11

Free: GL perplexes his attack up to a 12.

3. GL will shoot at the Empress. 12 on a 13 + 2. Anything but snake eyes. Roll is (2,2). for 4. Hits. Since I needed one perplex in this case I think I can choose which of their perplexes counted and give Plas an AST. I'm sure TMNT will correct me if I'm wrong. Empress takes 3 and is KOed.

My computer crashed yesterday and apparently my post didn't get through. You should stil have the die roll though.

Free: GL perplexes his movement up to an 11.

Free: Plas perplexes GL's damage to a 4.

1. GL picks up Plas and RSs to I12, placing Plas in J12. He'll shoot at Persuader. 10 on a 15. The Roll was a (3,6) I think. (double check). Which is a hit. Persuader takes 4 - toughness + BFC for 4 total. Plas gets his 10th AST :-)

Yes, sadly, that's my most pleasing roll of the match, LOL. And I thought the BFC I would fear the most would be White Noise. :noid: Quite the challenge, but I felt like I was still in it even going into Turn 7. Obviously, I didn't quite know how to handle this map. Didn't seem to be any advantage to start on the overpass, either.

But well played on your part. You rolled what you needed each time, and you still had plenty of good powers left over after all my outwitting. That's tough to beat.

And ironically, Ch'p and the GLC arrived at my doorstep today.

Unfrotunately, the refs job is to roll that, just to make it even. I'll make the post game re-gen roll now. If I roll a 4,5 or 6 with one six sided die, no injury.
