The previous rater must be kidding. As many wildcard pieces, too many points go into the TA, and we're left with a very, very poor piece. OTOH the other versions are pure s*** too...

Damnit, and I like the character. The Rookie is nice and his poor AV doesn't matter because of his low cost. 48 points is too much for someone with an AV that goes 8 8 7 7 6 and defense that also sucks real bad.
Too many points put into Wildcard, RS and Charge.

the combinations of powers here are the worst of the 3 dials, but the addtion of the team ability makes it salvagable as long as you give him something to up his attack values. (sinister syndicate, batman enemy, perplex, etc.) You can get some good use from him with the right team abilities to copy.

For 48 points, you can't go wrong. A pushable wildcard thay can annoy plenty of pieces. If he was any higher in points, I'd say no, but he's a great little package. Use him as a secondary harrasing attacker, and you can't go wrong!

With the Spider-Man TA and the upfront Running Shot, this figure is really good.
