Before I set up, could we get a refresher as to how the stairs work on this map? I'm pretty sure the top ones (B9, J23, P2) are considered elevated, while the bottom ones (E9, J20, and P5) are grounded, but how do the squares in between work?

Top ones are conisdered elevated, all others are considered grounded.

Thanks for the clarification, Turtle.

Here's my setup, and I'll move first.

EDIT: Oh, and unless stated otherwise, the KC ability will always be used by GL. Treat it like a Super Senses roll by rolling it during your turn as applicable.

Whenever an opposing player attempts to move a character adjacent to this character, that player rolls one six-sided die. On a result of 1 or 2, the character cannot move adjacent to this chracater this turn. This character, and characters suffering knockback, ignore this team ability.

Thanks. Hopefully some more impressive moves are on the way.

I will say that last turn is when I was missing my multiple Outwits the most so far. There's so many good powers on your two figures. I think I considered Outwitting every power except RCE and Incap.

"Alan, they're coming closer!"

"Little...busy!" gasped Green Lantern, who was showing signs of fatigue as he tried to fend off the seemingly suicidal human in the armored suit. Mind control, maybe? I don't know many non-metas with this fearlessness not named Bruce. Or Lex, for that--he dodged another blast from his opponent, and shook his head for not concentrating on the battle.

"I've nearly got this under control!" he called. "Raven?"

But the girl with the demon blood didn't answer, transfixed by the looming sight of an approaching giant.

2. Validus (pushing) attacks GL in close combat. 11 AV on a 20 DV. The roll is 6+1 = 7 for a miss.

3. Emerald Empress and Validus will declare Teen Titans TA. Emerald Empress (pushing) will take a click to heal Validus one click. That results in a KO of the Empress (I've added the stat to GL's tally).

Whew. Although the odds were with me, those rolls still had me worried.

Sentinels Turn 10A:

1. Raven will punch the Battlesuit in an effort to gain more stats. 8 on 13. 3+5 = 8 for 1 damage.

2. GL will punch Battlesuit. 12 on 13. 1+4 = 5 for the KO.

You have to clear, so I'll post my next turn shortly.

1. GL picks up Raven and Running Shots to D18, dropping Raven at E18. 12 on 16. 1+5 = 6 for 4 damage less one for toughness. Validus takes 3, and 1 SA to GL.

Raven will PC any successful attacks that she has LoS to. GL will require KC roll on any attempts to base.

Actually, change my PC instructions so that Raven only rerolls on critical hits. The rest of it is fine.

Good game. You made some really inspired choices to give Validus the best shot he could with that 11 AV on GL. If he had made that roll I'd have been flabbergasted at your use of Saboteur against me.

Thanks, 'bludgeon. I was actually hoping you would "help" Validus get to that 11 AV a little more than you did, LOL. But you must have picked up on that pretty quickly.

So that's two games in a row I've lost to a GL/Teen Titan combo. Well, at least I don't have to worry about that next game. Off to watch some "game film" of the JLI.
