So it is in fact blocking terrain.......shucks......I guess that's why there's no ladder or stairs ;)

2) Jinx will join him at Q-12 and will PC anything she might see. At the same time, she copies the Superman Enemy team abilty, giving Lex Outwit.

Wow that was a lucky break for me.

The Society Turn 3

Free: Lex perplex's Dr. Light's range to 7

1) Dr. Light will shoot Manbat. Needs a 6. Roll is a 2. If I am correct, that means he is injured and loses one to all stats in addition to taking the 1 click of damage.

2) Jinx will take a potshot at Clayface, hoping for more luck than he team has had so far. First will roll for shape change...3 can make the attack. Need a 9. Gets an 8, awesome. And by awesome I mean are we sure these dice aren't cursed ;)

3) Cheetah will push to charge to K17 for the longshot attack but more importantly blocking LOS from Ra's al-Ghul to Zoom. Roll for shapechange. Gets a 2, so she can attack. Need a 9, watch me get a 8. Its a 6, miss.

Lex and Zoom Clear.

Wow. 3 pushes in as many turns. This may be the most aggressive game I have ever played. Probably comes from not knowing my figs very well and getting traped in stupid situations. That, and not making the dice rolls and still feeling the need to eliminate threats. This dice server must not know that I'm irish. :p

not to be nosey but the crit miss does not effect your character this game (other than the damage) he would take the penalty in the next game should you choose to play him, now if he gets another crit miss or is the target of a crit hit then Turtle has to roll to see if the character is out for the season and Thawmus knows all about that

I was about to re-roll for Jinx, but Cheetah and Zoom are blocking her LoS now.....

Jinx had her PC outwited anyways. I thought I had positioned Cheetah where Ra's couldn't get to Zoom but I guess not. I'll figure it out tonight.

Actually, she got it back at the beginning of my turn, since that's when the outwit ends.

But the reason I got to Zoom was because Doombot flew Ra's into that bush (L-19), where he definitely can see him. Had he stayed where he was, then yeah, wouldn't have happened.

Btw, you forgot to click Doombot down after pushing, unless theres a reason you didn't.

The Society turn 4

1) Zoom will attempt to hit Ra's al-Ghul with his bcf needs a 9 and its a 10. My first hit! Hip hip horay! bcf roll is a...1. Jinx will prob control. New roll is a 5! Knockback to L-24

Free: Zoom will outwit R'as outwit on the chance that Az doesn't KO him next turn.

2) Lex will move to Q-13 and perplex Zoom's defense to a 16. MM to Jinx, who will prob control anything she can see (which should be nothing)

I'm grateful for the 5 bcf roll, but a 6 would have added 2 damage (with knockback off the map) and would have KOed Ra's. That would have been hilarious :p

I think I'll start adding story to my posts for fun, starting with the last post.

Zoom begins to snaps his fingers really really fast and makes Ra's al-Ghul have a miscarriage :devious:

Superboy Prime punches reality in the groin and erases that moment from history. Thawmus and Jack join forces with the rest of the heros (Jack recently joined the Suicide Squad [even though the Top made him do it], so he can in face be refered to as a "hero") and stop Superboy prime.

Time shifts forward one year and we find that in the time we have been missing, the Legion of Superparents has disbanded, Turtle and Vance have gone to train under Deathstroke's former master, and Jackofhearts has won the Heroclix Fantasy League!

Crazy dice this game. Forgot to do tokens last turn. I'll get better at this the more I play. Also, I had Lex at Q-13 even though I put him at R-12

The Society turn 6

Free: Lex will use the outwit gained by the superman team ability to outwit manbat's leap/climp.

1) Cheetah will push to claw at Ra's al-Ghul. 7 against a 13. Needs a 6. gets a 10, but Azrael will step between the two combatants to take the 2 damage from Cheetahs claws roll.
1 damage after toughness to Az
1 damage and one SA to cheetah.
Never had knockback and MM happen at the same time. I assume that I do in fact knockback Azrael to K-22

2) Dr. Light will incap manbat. Needs a 3 :p and gets a 3. 1 SA to Light.

You might want to check the LoF diagrams.

I looked at them for about 30 minutes before I posted my turn, and Dr. Light should be blocking LoF from both Lex and Jinx.

I hadn't used Jinx til this game and I must say shes quite cost affective. If they made the rest of the Fatal 5, I would most definately make an effort to pick her up.

I went ahead and rolled for Clayface's shape change, but it was a 3, so it doesn't matter....

Turn 11, Player 1


1) Ra's will move to H-20 and outwit Jinx's PC

2) Clayface will use Joker's 10 attack to push and attack Dr. Light.....10 on a 14, needs a 4.....

1+3, barely a hit...3 clicks of damage

3) Azrael will shoot Dr. Light (not with the HO), 8 on a 12, needs a 4....

3+5, a hit for 1 damage, and the KO

I had a good time, man. Fun game. I agree that once Zoom was down, that some of the thrill ended, but wondering whether or not he was going to come out of there alive was thrilling enough for me. All it takes is for him to get lucky a few times, and then he's never getting caught again.

Plus, say what you will about CJ Lex, he's dangerous in this kind of scenario.

Ouch. Still not sure why you wanted me to KO him, unless you meant you where hoping I would miss without PC. That, or maybe you needed one more KO or something.

Anyways, good game. Didn't do too well, but I got the stat points I needed and that last KO kept it from being too embarrassing :cool:

Well, think of it this way....had I based Jinx, I might not have pulled off the final KO. Clayface was pushed, and Azrael was way too far away.

Plus I don't mind giving a stat point away to a guy who just put a new team together in the middle of Season 2. ;)
